However, one of the first things I noticed when playing with the world time-zones that it skips straight from DFW (Dallas) to SAN (San Diego). What happened to us poor folks living in GMT-7? Well, Ill just have to leave it in GMT+5 and remember to switch AM and PM... Great watch, except in the dark This is a great product. It looks stunning, feels fantastic, and is extremely economical. Im confident that it is the best slide-rule watch for the price. The only complaint I have is about its visibility in the dark. In my case, the glow in the dark portions are pretty weak, though I have heard others say that theirs are outstanding. There is also no lighting for the digital portions. I dont mind any of this too much, as I primarily need my watch during the day. If youre looking for a good looking and feeling watch that wont break your wallet, this is without a doubt what you want... unless you really need to see it in the dark. Good value This product is a very good value for the money. However, there are a couple of things I would change on it. The LCD is not high enough contrast and is difficult to read in all but the best lighting. The time zone setting is always showing in the digital time and alarm mode, this is unnecessary. There is no backlighting for the LCD so in low light it is useless in all but bright light. Beautiful watch, great price Purchased this watch in September, 2007 so Ive only been wearing it a week now. The watch is as beautiful as it looks in the photos. It keeps excellent time and is very comfortable. Its a little more difficult to read the numbers than I would have liked and the watch band needs to be adjusted by a jeweler although it took him all of two minutes to remove the extra links. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. Sharp looking watch This is a good looking dress watch. I bought this in August, 2007. The rotating bezel works well as a slide rule althought the numbers on the inside are a little hard to see. It keeps great time, and its easy to switch to different time zones. The only negatives I can give are a lack of a light. The hands on the face will glow throughout the night, but it would be nice to have a light on it. The other negative is the digital numbers arent as bright as in the picture on website. You can see them fine during the day, but its much harder in lower light. |
