![]() Swiss Army Men's Summit XLT Steel Watch V.25005 By: Swiss Army Average Rating: 1.0 Total Reviews: 1 More Information I hope all Victorinox watches are like this O.k. here goes...i bought this watch after i broke (and i mean shattered, purely my own fault) a luminox series 1 which had carried me through for 5 years under harsh conditions that gave out in a freak in-line skating accident...i figured the all steal construction of the victorinox would be superior over the polymer luminox so i bought it to replace my favorite luminox...oh dear...this is where the fun begins. i get it home and set it and the date changed at 12 noon everyday instead of 12 midnight...ok fine...then the crown falls off, yep falls right off. i send it back to victorinox (now it gone for like 8 weeks, and i just bought it.) and they send the watch back with a dufferent crown than the one that was on it originally. ok fine again. the next day as i sit down at my table to read the sunday news paper, i change pages and i hear a little metallic skitter across the table and think; "what black magic is this?" sure enough the crown has just fallen off again, and ive had the watch back for a day...i really wanted to cry. i went back to where i bought the watch originally (foleys in sugarland) and the sales guy says maybe its just a lemon let me just replace the body with a new one and you keep the original watch strap and we call it even? o.k., nice man, thanks. 6 months later the circuit board fries and it stops dead in its tracks. dude i havent even been scuba diving, and i have an automatic dish washer. resistant to 100 atm? of what? certainly not water the watch then sits in a drawer for two years until i have a repairer replace the circuit board and then it begins changing the date at midnight like it was supposed to in the first place...after that i clanged it on a counter at a gas station, and ill be, the saphire shattered from the inside leaving shards of glass all inside the watch...i will never ever ever buy another victorinox watch again. you shouldnt either. save the money for a tag, or a luminox, or something that your heart desires. This watch has spent more time out of action than in and caused more headaches than any other watch including a casio? that i have ever owned. avoid avoid avoid.
