The altitude and compass give accurate readings and are easy to read. It has a good battery and since it is solar never need to change it. The Auto Light its pretty handy, just a twist of your wrist and it will go on at night. 5 alarms so you are shure you wake up. The thermometer takes some time to display the correct temperature and you need to take it off your wrist and the barometer will work only if you leave the watch in one place for 12 hours. Its a big watch but its Titanium construction makes it very light weight. I have accidently droped and hit the watch with no scratches, really tough. Terrific watch On: 2006-05-17I recently bought this watch with some prior misgivings about its size (2 inches across) but it is just a beautiful and useful piece of machinery for the wrist. The titanium band can be fine tuned for close adjustments on wrist size, i.e., not only can the links be taken out but a smaller adjustment can be made on the band latch. The compass works well and the barometer and altimeter are just fun geegaws. I kinda like the watchs prosperous size and the big numerals are great for baby boomers such as myself who need reading glasses. |
