The silver-tone hands and hour markers are glossy enough and wide enough to be seen easily in dim light even without being luminous (something only of fleeting use anyway), with minute markers in white and the date in black in a white window against a metallic eye-blue "sunray" dial 31 millimeters in diameter, the brushed and polished stainless steel watchcase proper being 37 mm across (39 with the crown), that looks more striking in person than it appears in the usual image of this model on a computer monitor. And the corresponding stainless steel "bracelet" band has a fold-over "deployment" buckle with a safety clasp to prevent the folding buckle from accidentally opening or snagging on nearby clothing or furniture--a useful feature. |
