 Jacques Lemans Men's Geneve Grande Classique Collection Automatic Watch #GU138C-ABT02C By: Jacques Lemans Average Rating: 4.0 Total Reviews: 3 More Information Nice look but way too fast  On: 2008-06-05Just received it last week. It is a nice looking watch, but gains 15-16 seconds a day (very consistently). Similar to a review to the other identical watch with the lighter brown strap instead(#GU138C-ABT51C). And amazingly same as the one of the other reviewer, my watch also has one visible piece of lint stuck to the inside of the crystal! I havent decided whether to send it to the manufacture to have it regulated or just send it back to Amazon. Guess it is too good to be true to have such a beautiful piece of watch for under $300. Nice Watch  On: 2008-04-22I have to say, I agree with Dave. However, the watch I got does not have the superluminova on the hands, but that does not matter to me, as I have other watches that do. Instead, the watch hands are thin and black, very elegant looking. I cant stress enough how comfortable the Alligator strap is. Great watch, Outstanding value, a Swiss Automatic watch for 265? cant beat that. Elegant Timepiece  On: 2008-04-15Jacques Lemans is not a popular brand here in the U.S., but rest assured, this is a very nice watch. If their other watches are as nicely constructed as this one, watch out for Jacques Lemans in the future. Every aspect is well-designed and executed. The dial is very legible, the hands have superluminova applied on them, and the movement is a 25 jewel Swiss made ETA 2824-2. The strap for my selection was of genuine alligator with a very nice dual deployment buckle. I own many automatic timepieces, so I cant stress enough how well-made this timepiece is. Right now, the watch is listing for $265, which is an absolute steal. This watch should be selling for at least $500... it is that nice! |
