Generally prefer a metal band, thin face, and overall light watch. This watch does not meet any of these. In the 24 hours I have had the watch, these are my observations: 1. Although the face is a little heavy and may look bulky, the face sits well on my non-linebacker sized wrist. 2. The face is also a little thicker (about 10-11 mm), but it looks and feels balanced. 3. The leather strap is padded and comfortable. Its a little stiff at first (which is to be expected), but its quick to break in and makes for a nice complement to the brown face. 4. The watch wound quickly. I messed with it for about 3 minutes and set it. Its kept time just fine. I have only had it for 24 hours so its hard to be exact, but since I set it, it is right on track. 5. It is a nice watch to look at. The few people who have seen it like it and I think the finish on the watch is just great. Bottom line: The watch works great, feels great, and looks like it should be more expensive. |
