 Carrera Men's CW66461.47C042 Sporty 3HD Silver Watch By: Carrera Average Rating: 2.0 Total Reviews: 1 More Information Broken Band after 60 days  On: 2009-05-03I purchased this watch after searching many different types. I liked the style and wanted something with a combination black/silver finish that wasnt too expensive. The Carrera 3HD is a little bulkier than it appears to be online but I have big wrists and got used to the extra weight. Even still, I had to have a link removed so that the watch would fit properly. Even after adjusting the pin to its smallest setting, the watch would spin around my wrist. After the adjustment I was happy until the band broke. Without warning the black plastic band broke and could not be easily fixed. I attempted to contact Carrera by e-mail regarding a warranty, but my message was returned undeliverable. I am now asking Amazon to direct me, but its becoming a hassle and I have been without a watch for several weeks now. I believe the materials used are not as strong as they appear to be. Carrera boasts that the watch is carbon fiber, but the band is obviously just plastic and will break easily without any stress applied. Prior to this watch, I had a Timex for 15 years and only needed to replace the battery. As for this product, I would not recommend this watch. |
