Battery died after 3 years, as advertised. Hybrid rubber/anodized steel band had to be changed about the same time ($40 approx.) Ive had two problems with this watch: 1) Salt water turns the black color into dark brown. I went snorkeling several times, and had no other problems. 2) One hand fell off. Very expensive to fix. customer support recommended buying a new one. I am definitely going to do that, just that it will be a different brand. Too bad, I really loved this one. Bottom-line: One of the best looking watches on the market today, at an accessible price. Build quality is definitely not on par. If you expect to spend around $xxx and keep the watch for only 2-3 years, its fine, but thats about it. Hope this helps. |
