It is a good, solid watch with an impressively solid crystal face. It glows great in the dark. I have several watches such as Rolex, Invicta, Seiko, Suunto and another Luminox with a big blue face and small digital read-out with an alarm. That one is now discontinued. All in all I have to say that this is a watch that I wanted more than one of. Accurate, robust and looks good On: 2006-07-27Ive owned this watch for several years now. Ive only needed to replace the leather band. I wear it doing yard work and to my office job, so it gets knocked around now and then. I bought it mainly for the bright luminescent markers which are easily visible, and makes the watch readable at night, even without my glasses. Ive found it to be extremely accurate and reset the time only when I need to reset the date at the end of the month. The crystal is indeed scratch resistant, and scratches that you might get are not visible to a casual observer. This watch may outlast me! Luminox 3401 On: 2005-06-30This is a REALLY nice watch - especially for the money. It looks and feels like serious military hardware. The screw down crown keeps it locked up tight. The engraving of the F-117 and other info on the back is excellent. I got it with the rubber strap and it is very flexible and comfortable. The bezel clicks nicely and feels very solid. It comes in a very cool box too. So far it has kept good time as a swiss watch should. I would recommend it highly. I plan on ordering this watch On: 2004-04-04I already have a "Luminox" Navy Seal dive watch, but I like the looks of this one also. Ive not bought one yet, but from my experience with this brand, I think it is a great timepiece. I am visually impaired and the white numbers and markers are very easy to read. The night light is great! I can see the watch without my glasses in total darkness. We were in Mamouth Cave, KY, and the guide turned out the lights and someone in our group standing several feet away saw my watch. It is rugged and the only thing Ive replaced is the rubber band, and the battery once. Time accuracy is very good also. I wear it to work as my "work" watch and it has held up extreamly well. Im looking forward to purchasing this watch very soon. |
