![]() Men's Automatic By: Timex More Information Nice looking accurate automatic watch with issues First let me say I got this as a dept store closeout for $24 (obviously a steal at that price.) Pros: 1. Watch is very good looking. 2. Watch is quite accurate once "wound" (either manually of by wearing for several days). It is in fact more accurate than my Seiko automatic. Cons: 1. No luminescence - to tell the time at night, put on a light or carry a flashlight. 2. Very difficult to read date despite magnifier. Personally I would not pay over $100 for a watch I cant use in the dark. Extremely pleased My Timex 2C261 was exactly what I wanted. I wore it to my class reunion the day it came in the mail and all my friends wanted to see it. They had never seen a self-winding watch. When I had some links taken out for fitting, the jeweler asked where I bought it and the price. Its very dressy. I wear my ironman for daily casual use. The 2C261 has some weight to it, that I like. Its not overly large, bulky, or ostentatious. Amazons vendor that sells it sent it to me 2 days after I ordered it. |
