This is my 3rd Tissot I purchase(other 2 I sold)and its a keeper! This Tissot is 43mm in diameter,which is a good sized watch for a tall guy like me. This watch looks like a very expensive Swiss Made watch. The quality you get for $252.00 for a Swiss Made watch from the Swatch Group with sapphire crystal is unbeatable. I have a few nice watches,2 Omegas,Seiko Velatura Direct Drive,Maurice Lacroix,Tag Heuer,etc. This one is the best value for the dollar,plus its a European model that only a handful of US retailers cary. I suggest you go get one from Amazon and enjoy you watch!! Watchsavings has them cheaper but they are Jomashop and sell refurb crap!!! Dont buy from watch savings!! Luxurywatchsore is the way to go for this Tissot!! Amazing deal On: 2008-05-12I own 6 watches, 3 Bulova Marine Stars, 2 Jacques Lemans and a this, a Tissot V8. V8 quickly became my favourite, its comfortable, nicely designed and you know youre wearing a watch when you wear it. the dial looks busy in the pictures, but in person its not cluttered at all, and the hands on the subdials and the chrono seconds hand are blue and contrast nicely against the dial. The lume is good and lasts long enough. The strap is a bit stiff, but I expect it to loosen up over time. I ordered the the watch on a sunday and and recieved it on a wednesday, being in Canada, I find that very fast and speedy, I had no problems at all with the delivery and purchase process, I would use this store again in a heartbeat. Whether you are a Jeans or Formal wear person this watch will add on to your persona, excellent, no other word for it. A bit on the big side though, "but BIG is the new small" in watches. Great Watch On: 2007-03-06This is one seriously good looking watch. I have my share of nicer watches but Im pretty careless and Ive managed to do alot of damage to the nicer ones. This watch looks and feels like a really expensive watch but for just a fraction of the price! Tissot makes great watches and I highly recommend this one! Ok but not great On: 2007-02-24I was really excited about getting this watch. When I received the watch I was slightly disappointed. It looks good and I like the large size. The Leather strap is not that comfortable at first but does start to break in after a few weeks. The pin that you pull out on the side of the watch that changes the time and date does not screw into the side of the watch...so I would assume that the watch is not water proof. Nice Watch  On: 2007-02-21Going by looks, this is an excellent watch. The only problem I have seen till now is setting the date for the watch. When you turn the knob to set the date its very sensitive and if you over turn it you can see that the date changes slightly before. Well, this is not really such a big problem as far as the time is accurate. Apart from this, I would really suggest this watch for its trendy and sporty looks. Great watch for the money On: 2007-02-04Ive owned this watch for about a year now and Ive gotten more compliments on this watch than any of my other watches. You really need to have this watch on your wrist to understand its true beauty. Looks just as good with jeans and a t-shirt as it looks with a suit. Change the strap if you want a different look. Tissot makes a great product and you wont regret the purchase! what I expected On: 2007-01-17The watch is even better once you have it around your wrist then what it looks on the picture. The delievery (international) was OK, but I would preffer DHL instead of FedEx. All in all, I recommend it - both the supplier and the watch. Best of All Tissot's On: 2005-12-26Before buying this watch I visited several Tissot dealers and I can say that this is one of the best Tissots I have seen. Considering the price listed here on Amazon its unbeatable. I own an Omega Seamaster Pro Chronograph and needed a watch for every day use, and this watch is perfect. Ive seen this watch in the dealer with a retail of $350.00 and only one of 5 authorized dealers had one available since they claim that it is not for the US market. watch is heavy and very well made. also shipping was fast (2 days). Tissot T36.1.316.72 Review On: 2005-12-04Best watch Ive every had. Have one now wanted another for dress. The one I have now is for everyday. Maybe I should have ordered two??? Tissot, V-8 lives up to its name On: 2005-10-04This is a beautiful watch. I can say that with authority, because I checked out Breitlings, Omegas, Tag Heuers and others. I own a Tag Heuer and an vintage Hamilton. The Tissot is not available from U.S. retailers, only from Europe, so I was very pleased when Amazon could get it for me. It is similar in some ways to the Omega Speedmaster, with it engraved tachometer on the bezel. The dial color is ivory with black enamaled hour markers. Second hand and subdial markers are blue, a nice combo.The watch arrived promptly with a nice wooden box, warranty and instruction manual. Its a steal at the price, the Omega costs $1400. discounted, although it is a automatic, versus the Tissots quartz movement. This is a big watch, I measured it at 43mm, and it may not suit everyone. This watch has the look, the heft and the styling of a very expensive watch and to my eye. its better looking that many Breitlings, Omegas, Fortis and others. The price cant be beat in todays market. Highly recommended. |
