The watch is much more polished and shiny than the picture shows. Aslo, the new watch band makes it hard to adjust for proper fit. Otherwise, it is a beautiful watch. Understated Elegance On: 2008-03-06I received my Movado today and Im pleased in many ways. This watch is plain in that it is only a two hand watch with a blank dial. But it is exquisite in that it is one of the most recognized dress watches in the world. The Military model attracted me due to the larger than normal Movado at 39mm instead of the usual 35-37mm which is a little small for me. Another thing that attracted me was the bracelet, it isnt integrated like many Movados. Instead you get nice solid end links, and you can change to a strap or another bracelet. The watch is thin, with good detailing as well as fit and finish. The combination of brushed and polished accents look very nice, and add to the subtleness vs. an all polished watch. Overall, if you want something a little bigger than the ususal Movado and a watch that is instantly recognizable while understated. This is for you...
