On: 2008-02-28The good: Ive whacked the watch face into several things and still havent seen any visible damage. The watch is very stylish and can work in a formal or casual environment. I love the squared look and how thin the actual watch is (1/4"). The bad: The watch band is about 1 link too large for me and needs to be adjusted. The problem I ran into is the little "users guide" that is included with the watch doesnt address the stainless steel watch band. When I contacted Croton, they suggested I mail the watch into their jewelry maker or go to a local watch shop. Ive made watchband adjustments before but I couldnt figure out how this one operates. Even an associate of mine who used to work for a watch shop couldnt figure it out. This translates to me most likely having to mail it in for a simple adjustment (bummer). All in all, Im quite pleased with the watch. Its heavy enough to have substance but not so heavy that it becomes cumbersome, its stylish, and all around good watch. If the band was a bit easier to figure out (or if the guide actually gave instructions) it would get a 5 out of 5. |
