 Invicta Men's II Collection Eclipse Stainless Steel Watch #4088 By: Invicta Average Rating: 4.5 Total Reviews: 10 More Information More Invicta Junk  On: 2008-06-14I purchased 3 Invicta watches over the last 3 months and all of they have been simply junk: 2 simply died within weeks of coming, the others strap broke after basic use. If you look at the internet and even Utube you can see complaints posted. This particluar watch, although nice to look at and heavy, simply died (started keeping bizarre time, losing hours, and simply just died) only 4 weeks after purchase. It is not the battery. On inspection it was found that it had Swiss parts, but was not Swiss made in any way-mostly from China looking at the awful quality inside.Invicta are also terrible in terms of looking after their customers; you are looking at months to get it fixed (if they can fix it), and usually sluff it off with "it was your fault, wrongly winding it", etc. and ask for you to buy a new one with a discount. By the time you are finished, with postage, time and headache, you will be out of pocket. I just threw it away and vowed after three bad watches from Invicta, they are simply selling junk. I hope this helps. Dont get suckered. Affordable Elegance  On: 2008-04-22This classic timepiece is long on style and sophistication, but short on cost. In fact at just over $115, it seems grossly underpriced for the value. As others have noted, it is heavy but not distractingly so. What a lovely bauble for special occasions, or for every day at the office. If your wrist is small forget it, as the solid extended bit before the bracelet, actually does not allow the bracelet to wrap round ones wrist as much as i would have liked. For watch fans with big wrists On: 2008-03-07Bought this watch for a friends 40th birthday. Had a look at it before I sent it and I must admit I was impressed. The finish is flawless and the watch is stunning. It is big but doesnt look too bulky on a solid wrist. A fantastic and classy timepiece at a bargain. Beautiful, but be warned On: 2008-01-26The watch is awesome. But bear in mind that is huge, and heavy. Perhaps not everybody would feel comfortable with it. It is not a watch for everyday use. Other than that, its a piece of art. Great watch On: 2007-12-20This is a very large, masculine, great looking watch. It keeps phases of the moon, as well as month, date and day. It has excellent weight to it (ie, its heavy). Keep in mind you will have to remove some links in the bracelet in order to make it fit your wrist properly (believe it or not, some people dont know this). The only negative comment I have about this watch is that it can be uncomfortable to wear (at first). The crown (dial used to adjust time) is VERY sharp around the edge, and it tends to cut into the back of your hand. Conveniently, Im a man, and I dont whine about this, but rather I buck up and enjoy my very eye-catching watch. Eventually you develop a nice little callus there and you cant feel the edge of the crown at all. I guess the only other thing that could be improved is the date display -- its kind of difficult to read. If you are prone to whining about a tiny bit of discomfort, or have very very sensitive skin, perhaps you should look for another watch. But if you are a regular guy and would enjoy a great timepiece, definitely consider this watch. Beautiful watch! On: 2007-11-27Cant say enough positives about this watch. Pictures dont do it justice.
