Its so big you can easily tell time at a glance. Crown is tight and responsive unlike many japanese movements. I like it as much as my Tag link. Good price for a great watch. Beefy On: 2009-07-31I bought this watch a little more than a month ago because Ive really been wanting something beefier. For the past ten years, Ive been wearing the same thin, light Swiss Army watch and figured it was time for something different. I was not disappointed! It has mass. Its thick. Its fairly sizable across the face and very easy to read at a glance. Its not a honkin 52mm Invicta (which I think are a little too big for me) but its substantial. Ive gotten a lot of compliments on it and Im happy with it in every aspect. There are two things that took me a while to get used to and they are (1) Ive banged it against door frames a couple of times because of the case thickness (no damage to the watch or door frame!) and (2) I kept thinking it had stopped since the red "second hand" is for the stop watch function and is normally at rest in the 12 oclock position. My Swiss Army also has a red second hand that ticks around the dial so that took some mental adjustment after ten years. I synced the time to my Mac (which in turn syncs with a time server) when I first got it and its only lost two seconds in that months time. Im not sure how other watches do with that but I think thats more than acceptable. For the price, I think this is a nice timepiece. If youre used to a Rolex or Breitling, this is probably not for you. But then, I cant see spending that kind of money on a watch. Excellent price On: 2009-05-31This is a very nice looking watch. Very good quality. In my country (Montenegro) the price is EUR 120 higher so I had a good deal. Since Amazon does not ship these kind of items to Montenegro I had to provide different address in other country. Apart from this fact everything else was just excellent. Great Looking Watch  On: 2008-08-25I bought this watch last week for $165.00. Its easy to figure out and use. Very masculant looking and handsome. The leather band is small. When I wear mine, the leather band can barely accomodate my wrist (I am using the last hole in the band), but then I have large wrists. That is my only complaint. The other timers operations (12-hour, 30 min and second hand chronographs) are easy to use. I wish the date window included a month and day reading (mm,dd,date ie. Jun 29,Mon) besides the date. Nonetheless, I am happy with my purchase and it appears like I got a good deal compared to the prices I see on Google shopping search. My other watch is a Casio G-shock atomic watch and it has taken a pounding that most other watches would have wilted from. Great looking watch On: 2008-02-09Im well known on Amazon.com and looked for a new watch. Im a collector for a long time but this watch is the greatest of all! That its waterproof for 200 mtrs is nice but not necessary. Also Im not really a sportsman but the possibilities on the chronometers are also very nice. But most of all I like how it looks. Its quite big with all kinds of gadgets and, for me different, it has a leather band. Nice to know is that I saved 100 euros by buying it on Amazon.com. |
