Great watch, excellent style and runs great. I needed to have a link taken from the band, and while I waited, looked at various jewelry shops at the local mall. The watch was priced by at least $200.00 higher than I paid for it. Great price, outstanding product. Staggering looking watch in person for trade show or night out On: 2008-03-29Ive been looking for a watch to compliment my suit setup for trade shows and high end company presentations - this is the perfect balance of elegance and class. Im so glad they named it the "jr sport" which sounds small so it probably didnt sell well, thus available for a fraction of what retail outlets charge for the new version. For me, the new version has too much gold, as the whole watch just screams "GOLD". The old two tone, in a trade show or fancy restaurant environment looks like a well accented half gold half stainless steel presentation - with that something the whole Movado mistique whispers "class" - and you cant get around it. Unless you want a Rolex, which doesnt keep as good a time and costs $500. to tune up every five years - or want to try your hand at other fancy brands, which at the end of the day all look like "every other watch" as my wife says - the black face Movado started in the 40s is tough to beat for quiet elegance with a twist of je ne sais pas. Darn the thing looks good on a wrist, and you just cant get around it. Thanks Amazon for stealing these things from a wherehouse somewhere so I could sneak into one! My husband loves it On: 2008-01-22I purchased this as a Christmas present for my husband and he loves it. It is a beautiful watch, almost too beautiful for daily wear. The watch is heavy and perfect for a mans wrist. The only possibly negative comment that I can make is that the band keeps fingerprints much like the lens of a pair of sunglasses. Love it On: 2007-12-30I purchased this for my sons twenty first birthday, he loves it, I love it. It is so much better than I thought it would be. Smart, elegant, sporty, a perfect style and look for young men and beyond. The Picture Is half Of The Beauty On: 2007-11-05I just recieved this watch today and it took my breath away... WOW!! Once I put it on my wrist I fell in love with it. This is the second movado watch that I own and I plan to get more. (I am a collector) Highly recomended. Buy these watches on here if you want a good authentic watch but dont want to spend the high dealer and jewler prices. |
