On: 2007-08-15I just bought this watch at a surf shop today. The pictures on amazon dont do it justice. It looks much better in person. Deffinetly not as dark as in the pictures. One thing that might turn people away (depending on the person) is the way inwhich modes are switched. When you switch to a different mode such as time, timer, or alarm, it will show you the title of the mode first i.e. "Time" "Timer" or "Alarm" then after about half a second, the title will flash and itll go to the mode that it illustrates. One thing that people might notice right away is how misinformative the guide is when trying to set the actual time. The guide tells you to press and hold the "Mode" button to get options to come up such as "Light On/Off" "Chime On/Off" or.. finally, actual time settings (hour, minute, second, day, year etc..). For anyone who gets the watch and still hasnt figured it out, as with most digital watches, you have to hold the "light" button inorder for time setting options to come up. I believe once you get past the confusion in dealing with the settings controls on this watch, you will realize that you have the nicest digital watch of any that you have seen. |
