![]() Apple Nike+ Sport Armband with Window for Nano, Black/Gray (TM740LL/A) By: Apple Average Rating: 4.0 Total Reviews: 16 More Information eh service Did not here from them for a while and then it was just to tell me that they were out of stock. I wish it didnt take 2 weeks of waiting for them to tell we that! GREAT PRODUCT! Fits my little arm and my boyfriends big arm perfectly! It has a comfortable material and doesnt slide around like other IPOD holders! Great buy! Just what i was hoping for... I got the Nike+ when it originally came out and for a long time did not like the fact that the first armband did not have a window to see the Ipod. I can see where some people may prefer not to worry about how many calories they have burned or how far they have run until they are finished, but I thought it made it more difficult to get started on a run. I also find it helpful to periodically check to make sure that its actually running...I had a good run wasted because I apparently forgot to hit the start button. The music was playing, but the Nike+ part was not started, so a window in this armband, was a must have. Great product! So I bought this item after finding out that I could use the Nike+ system with my old ipod nano. That quality of the material is great! Once i put my ipod in the armband, i knew it was secure. there is a clear plastic window and the greatest thing is the raised "bump" over the center button. I ran with the armband and never missed tapping the center button as the bump makes it easy to find. Great product! An improvement... ...over the previous version with no window, but still some guesswork in navigating the click-wheel. great I really like this product. It is light and easy to use. I hardly know that its on my arm. My ONLY complaint is that its not the easiest to put on, and to fit to your arm just perfectly. The quality is great however and its easy to use the ipod dial through the plastic cover. Perfect fit It fits well with the ipod nano, but I would have bought the Armbard version without the transparent window for less money. When you run, you really dont care to see the ipods screen. If you have a playlist selected, you just hear the music and run. But its a nice product. Nike Arm Band Comfortable and the ipod wont come loose when running, but it runs a little big if you have smallish arms. The ipod needs to come out of the sleeve to to recharge. I found this bothersome. A must have if you have the Nike + system. This arm band is the best one that I have used. The wide band adds to the overall comfort with out digging into the arm like ones with small bands. Works well with or with out the Nike Plus system attached. The center button nub allows you to find the right button while running. A must have if you have the Nike + system. Nike+ Armband I like it. It has extra space for the sensor that plugs into the bottom of your iPod Nano. If you arnt going to use the Nike+ Running sensor kit, $30 would be a bit expensive if all you are going to do is walk or run with it and not track your workouts. If you have skinny arms, it tends to not fasten small enough and the earphone plug comes out of the bottom of the arm, so while you are running, it gets caught and pulls the ear buds out, so I have to re-route the earphone cording to come out of the top. I think if Nike modified the design just a bit, it would be fabulous! Nike arm band Great product, but would be alot better if arm band was a closed loop. The open straps are not as convenyent to place as the straps that slip over hand, up arm, and then tighten with velcro. No problems here! The Apple Nike+ Armband fits around my arm perfectly. It is nice and snug and doesnt move when I am running. The iPod fits in the case nice and snug as well so it doesnt move either. The buttons marked on the case match up perfectly with the buttons on the iPod. Its a nice feature that the center button pops out, making it easy to find. The design on the armband is nice and I would definitely recommend this armband to the avid runner. Seriously, this could be a lot better Why would Apple and Nike make an armband where you cannot see the screen? I wonder if thats intentional, however I think that the Nike+ software has an on-screen display while you are running. Also, if I need to re-calibrate or change any settings, I have to take the iPod out of the pouch and try to jam it back in the sweaty armband. Also, the sensor is inaccurate with my Garmin Forerunner 305 GPS watch. I will try to re-calibrate. Window a big improvement; Nike+ adapter still doesn't fit great I cant believe how hard it is to find an armband for the ipod nano that accommodates the Nike+ adaptor!! This is one of only three ipod nano armbands Ive been able to find that works with the Nike+ system. (the others are from Active Sport and Sportsuit Relay by Marware, which I think is the best one). Most armbands dont allow use of the Nike+ system. Nike has done a good job with improving this armband, but it is still difficult to get the iPod with the adaptor all the way into the pouch, and then you have to take out the ipod each time you want to download your run. (This is one reason why the Marware product is better). Im considering cutting a slit in the bottom so that I can leave the ipod in the sleeve and just take out the adaptor to download or plug in the ipod. Otherwise, its comfortable and fits well on my upper arm. I was given this armband as a gift so I guess I will try it out. Well see how long it lasts! Nice armband When I decided to purchase the Nike+ system, I picked up one of these armbands too. Its a perfect fit for the Nano, and doesnt slide off your arm at all. Its very comfortable! I also like that its washable, as runners armbands get dirty and sweaty pretty quickly! Its at kind of a weird angle for being able to read the screen while running. Ive also accidentally hit the center button when trying to skip a track. I figure these issues are normal with most cases, and as I get used to it, itll pass. Overall, I definitely recommend it, especially for runners :) Finally!! A product you can actually use I was stupid enough to buy the other version of the armband, the one without the window. I ended up manually cutting a hole in the thing so I could see the window, at which point the entire armband started falling apart. This time, Nike got it right. The product fits well, is well made and perhaps most importantly, it has a window so you can see the nanos screen while you are running, or stopping for a quick sip of water. The nano with adapter fit well in the sleeve, and the buttons line up properly. It was easy to use the ipod while on the move, and I felt confident I wasnt going to accidentally stop my run or change my playlist to my kids Wiggles tunes. I recommend throwing the prior version you bought in the trash. This will make you happy and is well worth the $30. Enjoy! |
