On: 2007-12-26I was looking for something to give in these xmas, and I found it with ths Swiss Army Original Watch. Its affordable, with most functions that other watches from any other brand, and the most important for me: Its a swiss guaranteed watch. If youre looking for a good gift for the season, take this one. You wont regret. I expected better.  On: 2007-12-26I purchased this watch as a gift for my fathers birthday. Initially the problem was that the watch was shipped in a box for a different item so instructions were not helpful. When I approached the vendor they suggested that I have my father call so they could walk him through it. Unfortunately my dad is 77 and his primary language is not English so this would not work. A couple of weeks later my dad called to say the watch had stopped working altogether. I asked the vendor for return instructions and was asked if the watch had ever been used. This has been an extremely negative experience and I will follow up with Amazon for a refund. Terrible Seller On: 2007-12-25I am not sure how to rate this product as I never received it. The seller uses USPS which I guess may be alright under normal circumstances but is not able to fulfill the task during the Christmas season. The item took its sweet time to arrive and then when I checked it when my father brought it home to Trinidad it was NOT what I paid for! The merchant did not want to pay for me to FedEx it back to the US and wanted me to use ordinary mail. This was to be a present and it would have never reached in time for me to get a refund/the actual item. In the end, I had to sell the wrong watch in order to recover my losses... :( TimeZone123 NEVER AGAIN!!! On: 2007-12-12I ordered a Swiss Army Mens Original watch #24506 The watch arrived used, scratched and dirty; they didnt even bother to wipe off the sweat from whomever used it before. Shame on this vendor. ordered a new watch, received a used watch On: 2007-09-02Very disappointing as this was to be a gift. The watch arrived with a filty band, and the back of the watch was severaly scratched. The company did not respond in a timely manner and I had to contact Amazon for help. But the company did refund my money. Bueno para lo que pague. My favorite watch!!! On: 2007-07-25Ive got six watches, but the Swiss Army Startech 2000 is my favorite. The photo on Amazon doesnt do it justice. Its better looking. It has a simple, but elegant look. The case isnt too thick and its not heavy. The dial isnt cluttered and the white numbers on black background makes it easy to read. Ive had more people compliment me on this watch than any other watch that I own. The only negative thing is that the watchband is unique. You cant replace it with just any watchband. You have to buy a watchband specific to the Startech model. You also cant replace it yourself. I tried and badly scratched it. I had to take it to a jeweler to replace the watchband. The upside is that the watchband is very durable. The watch is also very durable. Ive had mine for at least 5 years and I just purchased a new one as a "reserve" for the future. Better than expected On: 2007-05-17I am delighted and surprised that this watch is better than I expected. It is not only well designed and comfortable to wear it fits that void of wishing to have a dress and yet a practicle watch for all occasions. The functions are easy to use and having dual time (analaogue and digital) is very useful. Perhaps the only critiscm would be some may find the size of the digital letters rather small, however it makes up for it being so convenient. The black face and white letters make it easy to see although an led light would be a bonus here for night vision. You can buy this with confidence from the manufacturers fine reputation. |
