The outside cover was scratched. The finish is a too bright yellow gold. Im returning this one. Disappointed  On: 2007-11-13I realize this pocketwatch was inexpensive but we were disappointed with it. When it arrived, the gold plating looked tarnished. The watch back had obviously been opened because it was put back on crooked. It was pictured with a nice, red, gift box. However, the gift box was for a wristwatch so the pocketwatch looked goofy in it. shipped fast with case worn  On: 2007-10-17Although it arrived fast, the watch didnt look very new to me. Its golden color was lost at some areas of the case making it not as shiny and good-looking as a gift. Nice pocket watch On: 2007-08-27The pocket watch is pretty nice, looks great but you can see its not made to last, I expected the watch to be dark gold in a few years when the lacquer wears off, but its only 40 bucks dont except too much, but most people at the party they dont know how much you pay anyway... ??? Very Disappointed On: 2007-07-05Although the Pierre Cardin Gold Tone Pocket Watch was sent swiftly, the casing was obviously damaged and used when I had spent extra to ensure that it was new. Because I had purchased the watch for my father as my gift to him at my wedding, I didnt have the time to have the watch sent back to be replaced. I purchased gold polish to try to remedy the situation, but the extent of the damage to the casing was too deep. All in all, I would not buy from this seller again. |
