 Croton Men's Silver-Tone Black Dial Watch #CA301020BKBK By: Croton More Information Great watch for the money  On: 2007-10-14This is a great casual time piece. It has kept accurate time for the few months I have owned it. It is light weight and comfortable to wear. I love the Croton watch line for their price, versatility, and durability. It does have an easy to read dial with a good magnifier for the date. It does look and feel like a much more expensive timepiece. Remember, watches are like puppies...they all want a home. looking for the warrenty...  On: 2007-07-27For the price it is hard to complain, but as I look at the watch right now and get irritated with the condensation build-up in the center of the face, I have to pass it on. This is a flimsy watch. Dont be fooled with the mark down, as I dont believe it is worth more than the $30, you commonly see. You get what you pay for. Cheers!! Quality sports watch for casual wear  On: 2007-06-08I like this watch a lot. Its a great looking watch for casual wear and seems real solid. The only thing I do not like is the band even at its minimum cannot be adjusted any more to fit my wrist. It is a little looser than I like to have my watches but I can gt used to it. And for the price on Amazon... Im not complaining. If I paid full price I might be a little upset. Ok Deal on Sale But There Are Better. On: 2007-05-09First, they dont have a "lifetime" warranty because Amazon is not an authorized dealer. They have a five year "limited" warranty. Second, cheap watches do not have to look cheap. Unfortunately, this one does. The dial looks cheap and so does the bezel. The movement is loose inside the case when the crown is out. The band is rough, ugly, and yes, cheap. It has a screw down back but no screw down crown. After a month or two it is unlikely it will be water resistant in the shower much less at 100 meters. If it keeps good time it will be fine as a beater watch but dont expect to impress anyone at your next social gathering. Croton makes some really nice and well crafted watches but they also have several low end lines and though not at the bottom this one is close . I got mine on Amazons Friday Sale so I got an Ok deal. For the full price, Amazon has a number of watches that would be a much better deal. Another Croton winner! On: 2007-05-02OK - Croton lifetime warranty on a Japanese quartz watch with mineral glass, a black enamel rotating bezel, and relatively unique Arabic numerals over a black face. It also has a date window with a slight magnification. All this for $40.00. SOLD! I have a Croton automatic that has been my favorite watch for a year (see my reviews). I agree with the previous reviewer: the band could have been heavier, but hey - $40.00!!! Excellent watch for the price On: 2007-04-05This is a great watch from a very established watch maker. The lifetime warranty is also a good thing. The watch is accurate and it is water-tight which helps when going to the pool or gym. I only wish the band was a little heavier and richer. |
