On: 2007-12-20Dont buy this watch unless you want to adjust time every morning when you wake up! This is the only explanation about "automatic"! I am Very disappointed about this product! I bought this for my boyfriend as a gift. It said Water resistance 100 feet, but It had moisture inside the watch by wearing around household sinks after a few days we purchased it! We had been sending back and forward to the factory, but they had never fixed the problem. No customer service On: 2007-09-24Timezone123 replaced my first watch after one of the hands fell off. The second watch lasted a couple of weeks and two hands fell off. After repeated emails with no response I have given up on them. If two in a row are defective, then LP must have a manufacturing quality issue. Maybe that is why they are wholesaled out to Timezone for liquidation. Beautiful watch with a classy look and feel. Just wish they would back the product. Bad product and worse service On: 2007-07-27Received the watch and 2 weeks later, the push button for dates spoilt. From the transparent case, can see that the connector slided out. Contacted seller and sent the watch back for repair and now its as good as gone. No news from seller. Bad watch and worse service. Purchase at own risk. Nice look, bad quality On: 2007-04-06This watch look very nice, but a just used for 2 week and dont work, and nobody cant fixed. Elegant Men's Watch  On: 2007-03-20I enjoy my beautiful watch. It looks very wealthly. It came in a classy watch case. The watch has an excellent and comfortable leather band. The movemement of the second hand is smooth and classic. The black face makes this a watch you could wear to a formal affair or with your favorite pair of jeans. Not so good  On: 2007-03-08The watch looks great but just in the early morning, forget to see it at night, even in the daylight its imposible to see the small dials, ill sell it for less 3 Eye  On: 2007-03-08Attractive watch but the 3 eyes are hard to read. Watch picks up about 30 seconds every two days. Fell apart within the first hour On: 2007-02-03Very disappointed with this watch, one hour after I recieved it the day indicator hand fell off. I hadnt even worn the watch yet because I wasnt sure if I was going to keep it. the hand must have been loose originally. I guess you do get what you pay for. But the seller of the item was very helpful. so the 1 star rating is only for the product not the seller. Heavy Watch of Unknown Origin On: 2007-01-27This is an elegantly styled watch with little or no pedigree. Lucien Piccard is a Swiss company, implying that the watch is of Swiss origin too. The fact is that there are no indications of the country of manufacture, giving me the belief that it is probably made in China. The watch is much heavier and thicker than I thought. If you want a genuine analogue self winding mechanical watch this is a bargain, but do not be convinced of its pedigree by the name on the band. Overall disappointed since it is so much clumsier than I thought and it is true that you get what you pay for!! Mas de lo que esperaba On: 2007-01-26El reloj llego en perfectas condiciones, fue un gusto ver que es mas grande que lo que aparece y el detalle de fondo es fabuloso. El hecho que tiene un poco de reflejo tiene un truco visual interesante y es que el reloj no es para verlo directo, sino que en forma diagonal por lo que ver de reojo le da una buena vista de la hora. Estoy muy contento por esta compra. great value for a nice watch On: 2007-01-21this watch has a great price considering it has a nice solid automatic movement in it. Its beautifully crafted and works perfect. Its a very big watch so you have to take that in consideration if it will fit on you. For some people it might just look to big for them. All functions work perfectly and if you know just a little bit about automatic watches then you will understand how good this deal is. good watch, even better price On: 2007-01-16Yes it is exacly that. A great looking watch by a great brand for a very affordable price. I guess its because I expected less. But honestly so far, the watch has held up great. And for those who are like me and thinking that the watch wont look as good in real ife, DONT WORRY. this is a very classy looking watch. And I am picky when it comes to stuff like that. Really good deal. On: 2007-01-12This is a surprisingly handsome and substantial watch.The etched black face and silver markings are striking together. BUT......you will find yourself moving your wrist around to get the light to reflect off of the hands just right to read the time.Forget seeing it at night even under a street light. The subdials are very hard to read.The movement does not seem to have a very long reserve Maybe about 20 hours but I could be wrong. It seems to keep very accurate time when it is worn. For such a large and heavy watch I was surprised at how comfortable it is on the wrist and I have about a 7 3/4" wrist.You are getting alot for the money with this one. The band is also especially nice. Thick black leather with white stiching.Wear this watch with confidence in a situatuion where there is a lot of light. Hansome Timepiece On: 2007-01-06I bought this as a gift a little leary of such a discounted item. I recieved it in three days and it is beautiful. The photo does not do the texture on the face of watch justice for it is truly elegant. In my thirties and in need of glasses I had no problems reading the date or time. Its an elegant, black faced watch with three wheels for a calandar and is scaled as such. The clear back is a nice feature to appreciate the mechanism-although I wonder now where I should engrave it. A Steal! Get it now for a gratuation gift later! Handsome, but ...... On: 2007-01-03I can see why this watch is so deeply discounted. Its a bit hard to read with low contrast, and the date and other complications are so small you really cant read them without looking really hard or using a magnifier. It keeps pretty good time and its and overall handsome watch, Im still happy with the purchase, but glad I didnt pay any more than $80.00 for it. |
