But I dont give it 5 because its not very functional at all. The description says "Swiss Chronograph" but its not a chronograph at all. The dials are for the date, day, month. Not very useful. From a distance it looks vaguely similar to a Breitling Navitimer. Its a shame that it doesnt have similar functionality. As others mention, its huge. I have a 9937 which is kind of big, but this 3290 is even bigger. Doesnt sound much bigger when reading the specs but trust me, its huge. So make sure you want a big watch. Overall, for the price its a good value. Just know its limitations. BBW  On: 2006-12-29Big Beautiful Watch This was a gift for my father for Christmas. The watch is pretty big. Its not ginormous, but it is a good meaty size. I would say that if you are buying this for yourself or as a gift, make sure the person is of a pretty good build or the watch will look enourmous. The material, construction, design and even the packaging are very impressive. The turning bevel is odd because it serves no purpose - I guess when idling around the house or waiting in line it could be something to fiddle with to occupy time. Either way, its a beautfiul watch! Looks great but poorly designed  On: 2006-05-31This is a BIG watch. And its heavy. Definitely has the look and feel of a Breitling. However, the subdials are for month, day and date. Im pretty good of keeping track of what month it is. I can also remember the day of the week. But having the date is useful. Unfortunately, the numbers on the date dial are so incredibly small that I can barely make them out with a magnifying glass! Oh yeah. It has a movable bezel. But there are no markings on it. Whats the point of a movable bezel with no markings? If it didnt look so good I would have sent it back. |
