Metal sections are Tungsten Carbide(scratchless) and Black ones are some sort of metal hybrid. Best part is the black links DO NOT suffer from fingerprinting or the normal "oil" smudging you get with black metals. Understated yet extremely elegant and I now longer feel like my watch is going to catch a thiefs eye from across the street like i do with my Valor....
