Very Nice Timepiece     On: 2008-01-12

I purchased this watch because of the design and when it arrived I was rather impressed. The watch comes in a large wooden showcase box, directly from the factory. The face was a little smaller than my Lucien Piccard GTS but when I compared it to my dads Philippe Patek Geneva replica, it looked very very similar in all aspects. I certainly dont miss the second hand as very few timepieces have precise second hands anymore (in relation to where they fall on the ticker marks). The fit is very nice and the italian leather straps are quite comfortable. I would recommend this watch to anyone.
Nice watch, nice size     On: 2007-03-22

Ive been buying watches at department stores and thought Id try something with a better brand name. I like this one. The positives are: 1) The dial is large and easy to read. Now that Im over 50 Ive given up on digital watches that I just cant read without bifocals. 2) The watchband is mans size. I have normal man wrists and it fits. Those department store models are always on the last hole. 3) Im suprised this wasnt in the description, but it is water resistant, which is something I didnt think about when I ordered it. 4) I like the styling and it is very light and thin. It meets my expectations for thinness. My dislikes: 1) While it says it has more glow in the dark capability, the hands dont glow for long. 2) I wish it had a second hand, but I can live without needing to know time is moving that fast.

Disappointed - over 3 times as thick as advertised...     On: 2007-01-02

Requested & received the gold color version of this watch from my wife for Christmas. I am not sure where she purchased it because it was a present. I saw the add for it in a periodical where I was attracted to the seemingly impossible 2mm thin case. In the add, a picture of it shown face to back between thumb & finger illustrated a thin profile because it was held near an edge which would conceal the protruding portion in the back of my watch which is about 1/2 the diameter of the case. Bottom line, I measured with calipers about 6.5mm thick front to back in the center (includes protrusion) and tapering to about 4.7mm front to back at the edge of the watch. If I had known the true dimensions I would not have asked for it. It does seem to keep time so far, I like the face, and the appearance is of good quality but the 2mm dimension advertised is nowhere to be found except it is about the height of the protrusion (6.5mm-4.7mm)on the backside. Even the band is almost 3mm thick.
You may want to see one of these in person before you buy...
