It is a very smart looking watch and goes with both his business dress and casual weekend clothes. The only problem with the watch, (which is a big one!) is the fact that it keeps losing time. It is always speeding up or slowing down and he has to adjust the time quite frequently. OK but...  On: 2007-02-16Somewhat larger and heavier than anticipated. Date dial extremely small and very difficult to read. Would be perfect if size reduced by 25% and date dial doubled in size. A fun and dressy watch to own  On: 2006-11-29Fossil came out with an enjoyable self winding watch. At least for now it is fun to watch the rotor piece turn as the watch winds itself to your natural wrist movements. While the watch feels heavy as you put in on for the first time, you will forget you are wearing it after a brief time. The clasp is easy to open and close. The face is large and easy to read. There are only two drawbacks. First, there is no illumination, so if you need to know the time when it is dark, this is not a watch you should buy. Second, the date is small. This seems to be true on all the new self winding fossil models, but the numbers on this watch are larger than other models. It comes with an 11 year warranty, which is a great value for a watch in this price range. The literature says the watch can go 40 hours without movement, but I suspect it will be along time before this watch sits idle long enough to verify this claim. |
