 TAG Heuer Men's Professional Golf Watch #WAE1111.FT6004 By: TAG Heuer Average Rating: 4.0 Total Reviews: 7 More Information TAG Professional Golf Watch  On: 2008-04-11I purchased this watch as a gift for my husband who is an avid golfer. He wore it only on the weekends. The band broke within 6 months of purchase. (They advertise it as being indestructible). I sent it back to the Authorized TAG repair in NewYork and they wanted $200 to repair it because they said Amazon is not an authorized dealer. I would of never purchased the watch from Amazon had I known that. I beleive the watch was defective. Amazon would not repair the watch either. Good watch, the strap is kind of odd...  On: 2007-08-31The watch itself is a great watch, good quality and looks nice. The only issue with the watch is that the strap doesnt keep snug against the wrist (which is the purpose of the watch). After a few days wear it becomes loose and you have to adjust it to keep it snug. But overall, its a nice watch. Surprised  On: 2007-08-20The individual the watch was purchased for was very surprised and impressed as well, especially since it was gift. He enjoyed the gift and the craftmanship. Golf Watch On: 2007-06-04Im not a golfer so I was a little turned off to this watch at first but if youre like me and hate taking your watch on and off because it bugs you throughout the day, this one is well worth it. The band is made of silicon as opposed to rubber so it flexes with you throughout the day. What makes this watch unique is the "band buckle" is built into the watch casing, giving you maximum comfort. Ive never had to take it off while driving or typing since the band never knocks against anything. In response to another review here about there not being a certificate of authenticity, she is right. However, with Amazon, you get their 5-year warranty and pay about 40% less than you would at a jeweler or in the mall. At one store I was quoted $1250 + tax and they were "throwing in" a 2-year warranty. The box, which is hefty, includes everything you would get except the little card but in my opinion, you get much more value with Amazon. If youre looking for a really comfortable watch, give this one a shot. I think most people would be pleasantly surprised by its feel. The watch did not come with the Tag Heuer authentication certificate which was a huge disappointment since this was a gift and cant be repaired by a Tag retailer without this authenticity. Although Im pretty sure this watch is authentic, I didnt like not knowing that it wouldnt have the original warranty, before I purchased it. Great Watch On: 2006-08-09very useful for what I need...wore a rolex while playing golf but it couldnt handle the sudden movements and this works perfectly! A surefire CLASSIC......Tag scores with this Tiger. On: 2006-06-22Somewhat pricey....certainly....the unique style and function are worth it. This watch exudes Tag quality...the build and the mechanism are excellent...the "golf" dimpled face creates an eyecatching optical illusion when viewed at various angles. No regrets whatsoever...just do it. |
