On: 2007-01-03I bought this watch for meetings and interviews. As such, this is the perfect dress watch for those times when youre wearing a dark suit with brown shoes and belt, although its design allows for both dress and casual wear. Unlike those watches that are slim or small, this watch has a large case and dial and has alot of presence on the wrist. The mix of matte and polished steel case material is very effective. The back of the case features a see-through crystal and the crown includes an Accutron tuning fork logo etching. Some pictures of the watch have a band that is shiny, but it isnt -- the finish is a soft, matte brown with a contrasting off-white stitching. Since this is an automatic, wearing the watch will keep it powered, but winding is a simple matter of turning the crown clockwise and setting is, as you might expect, a matter of pulling the crown and turning. Mine came with a 5-year warranty. This watch is Swiss-made and features Accutrons legendary precision (calibrated to the oscillations of a tuning fork) and quality. At this price point, this is a very good deal. Highly recommended. |
