On: 2007-04-01Lets start by saying Invicta makes outstanding Swiss watches, a $2,000 Invicta compares to a $3,500 Rolex in quality, fit and finish. A very nice looking watch, very rugged and a great price, if youre a one watch guy make it this one. It dresses up, is tough and enexpensive enough for everyday wear. This watch is a great deal, a true Swiss watch with quality found in more expensive watches. 1. The band is made of solid stainless links. 2. A sapphire crystal, the materials exceptional hardness makes the face almost impossible to scratch. Since sapphire ranks a 9 on the Mohs Scale. Scratchable only by diamond or silicon carbide. But impact can shatter sapphire so be careful. 3. Made of 316L Stainless (marine grade stainless) very hard, corrosion resistant and scratch resistent. The same material as Invictas much more expensive watches. 4. a real Swiss quartz movement. Do not expect the luminescents to last 20 hrs as stated in advertising, I dont think it lasts longer than any other luminescent watch (a few hrs).
