![]() Invicta Men's 10 Collection Diver Watch #3258 By: Invicta Average Rating: 3.5 Total Reviews: 2 More Information Invicta Model #3258 Just recieved this watch yesterday and the early review is that i am satisfied with it. Of course what really matters is how well the product serves over time and I hope to write more in a month or two regarding that. Upon initial inspection the watch seem substantial, well crafted, and durable. The crown on this model is very well protected, which should go a long way towards its longevity. The case seems substantial, sturdy, and more or less bombproof, without weighing an inordinate amount. The bezel is similarly sturdy and operates with ease though not so much so as to slip or move accidentally. The chrystal protrudes out beyond the bezel by approximately 1/32" meaning its out there unprotected to receive abuse, hopefully it holds up. I will agree with the other review of this watch on the website that the bracelet does sound quite low quality if you take the watch off and jingle it around, it does look good and sound fine when its being worn and appears to be sturdy and well put together. Removing links was quite difficult, to remove and replace 3 took me about an hour and a half, Ill suppose that indicates its never going to just fall apart. Some hairs are still being removed by the bracelet which is otherwisequite comfortable and clasps securely, this is probably something that takes a little getting used to when switching from watches with fewer and larger links in the bracelet. For the price amazon sells it for, which is as inexpensive as i was able to find, its a good watch, not sure i would be as pleased if i had paid the nearly $200.00 retail price. Invicta Mens 10 Collection Diver Watch #3258 Disappointing First let me say that Im a HUGE Invicta fan! I own two other Invictas (an 8926 and a 2309), and I love them both. They are big, heavy, sharp looking, and the Miyota automatic movements are little workhorses that go forever if you take care of them. So when I saw this good-looking Invicta (reminded me of a Rolex GMT) with a sapphire crystal and Swiss movement (albeit quarts) for less than $70, I jumped on it! But when it arrived, I was very disappointed! It was very light and flimsy and lacked the quality build and finish of my other Invictas. It felt cheap on my wrist, and it rattled like a cheesy flea-market watch. So I give it three stars out of respect for Invicta and the fact that it does look good and I did not own it long enough to rate its performance or reliability. But I was very disappointed in the overall presentation of this watch compared to others. Spend the extra $20 or $30 and get something in the Pro Diver (89xx) series. You wont regret it! |
