My boyfriend has occasional issues with punctuality and is constantly asking me for the time (I dont wear a watch), so I decided it was time to get him a watch, but I knew it had to be easy to wear and cool to look at. This is perfect. Its easy to take on and off and he feels cool when he wears it and seems to revel in telling ME what time it is. You can wear it backwards (face facing body) too if you want it to just look like a cuff. Could be a little wider, but it looks good anyway. The more I wear it, the more I like it. This nicely molded wide black leather cuff would make a cool masculine wrist accessory even without timetelling capability. The snap-on fastener, which you can easily size to your wrist, is completely hidden when it is closed so it has a neat look all the way around. No digital complications on this one, just the simple time and date. (When Im into complex digital functions, I wear a G-shock. With the push of an inconspicuous button on this retro digital setup, you can display either the time or date on an attractive digital screen with a negative imaged black background with a soft light for the dark. Or you can choose to have the time and date alternate each second on the screen, an attention-grabbing feature sure to get comments from your friends who are no doubt already noticing this handsome piece on you wrist. Ive collected several Diesel watches for a couple of years now, as Im always on the lookout for watches high in the coolness factor. They have all been accurate time keepers and pretty durable too. Even better, you can wear them too look good as well as to tell what time it is. Take it from one whos kind of vain about what I wear on my wrist. Give this bold watch a try; youll like it. great watch On: 2005-10-04i have been collecting Diesel watches for a few years and this one is my favorite. the wide leather strap is pretty comfortable and fits well on either wrist. the backlight for night time use is subdued and that just adds to the watchs good looks. the only (minor) complaint i have is that, when you check the date, you have to cycle through a few modes. one button press changes the time to the date. the next press causes the date and time to toggle back and forth every second (why?). and the final press causes only the time to be displayed once again. a one button press to only display the date, and only while the button was being pressed, would have been enough. again, thats only a minor complaint. its kind of weird more than anything... then again, this whole watch is a little odd (but in a good way). enjoy! |
