My wife asked me to pick out whatever watch I wanted for Christmas, and after looking around quite a bit, this one was my choice. Its sleek design and features are what won me over. Now that Ive had it for a while, I really appreciate something that I didnt pay much attention to, the scratchproof crystal and titanium frame. Ive banged the watch into a couple of different things that would have scratched up my old watches, and its come away looking like it did the day I got it.
Its a great looking watch, and Ive received lots of compliments on it. It nicely straddles the line between a sports watch and an elegant watch for more formal occasions, so I wind up wearing it all the time.
The comments that others wrote are accurate about the limitations on the features, but in truth, I dont use them as much as I thought I would. Dont set the altimeter in a plane, even if the captain tells you the altitude, because the watch measures the altitude based on air pressure, and a presurized cabin throws it off. It would have been nice if the watch was more visible in the dark. It has fluorescent hands that glow in the dark for a while, similar to older watches. Great watch overall though!

This is a very nice watch - the only thing it doesnt do is cook breakfast for you. Its very substantial, and my husband loves all the different modes. He shows it off every chance he gets. Its also an expensive but practical investment for hunters and others who need to be on top of the conditions. On: 2007-10-05
The watch is as expected in the description and it is a nice looking watch. Im please with what i got. Delivery was fast as well. Only problem was that you could track the goods online. It would have been helpful if they gave me the UPS tracking number, so i know when it was coming. This watch arrived from NY to Bradford in 6 days On: 2007-08-12
Tissot is probably the best watch for the price (quality / price). I was also impress by the weight... very light in titanium. On: 2007-07-03
Watch is as described and reviewed on this site and elsewhere on internet.
Beware that the hands on the watch are not easy to see in dim light - I have read other reviews where people have been unable to read the time without their glasses.
Have compared the altitude/barametric pressure with a Sunnto, and there was minimal variation between the two. Similarly, minimal variation when checking against a manual Silva compass.
Alarm is suitably loud enough.
Havnt sought to verify the water proofness (or otherwise) of this watch.
I bought my watch through Luxury Watches. It didnt arrive with a warrenty card - I have requested this and they have advised it will be sent. Watch was hit with GST and duty on arrival in NZ ($124). Watch was appropraitely packaged and arrived promptly. Billing to credit card as expected.

I bought the Tissot T-Touch from Amazon merchant Kenmar Watches. The watch arrived in Ireland from the US in 3 days which was very impressive. Tissots presentation box is very nice and the watch also came with an additional 150th anniversary book on the history of Tissot. Well appreciated by a hard core watch collector like myself. I must confess that I currently have a Zenith Rainbow, an Omega SeaMaster, a Seiko Kinetic, a Citizen AquaLand and Mares Nemo in a collection which is tipped heavily in favour of dive watches. The chunky titanium styling of the T-Touch is in keeping with the rest of my horological wardrobe and is much appreciated. As is the light weight of my Titanium version. The overall finishing is excellent with a sapphire crystal of genuine quality , a comfortable and elegant bracelet and the polished titanium case. As quartz goes this is extremely accurate and is currently only 2 seconds slow since I got it a month ago. The carbon fibre dial is well finished and is a nice touch. The lumed markers are thin but clearly visible at night.
The advanced features such as compass, barometer, thermometer and altimeter are all accurate within reasonable tolerances. However, the thermometer is affected by body temperature (as expected) and the altimeter calculates based on atmospheric pressure so it must be calibrated prior to use from a known altitude. With correct calibration it works fine. Im not sure Ill use the features all that much but they are functional and this watch is not a toy. The only reasons I didnt give it 5 stars is the annoying lack of electroluminescent lighting for the LCD display which render the features useless at night. Water resistance of only 30 metres is less than ideal but hey, its not like I lack a watch I can wear while snorkeling. If you need a backlight get the solid titanium protrek from Japan. Otherwise get the Tissot, its very stylish. On: 2007-03-29

Well what to say Excellent.. funtastic..typical 007 watch with the gadget. Have no problems and am happy to have this beautiful piece. Goes well on dress as well as casuals.. the T touch screen is exceptional.. This beats the "Tag H " or any other equivalent brand bang on... not aware of the battery life as this is pretty new for me hope the battery lasts long.... On: 2007-02-23

Very pleased with the Tissot T-Touch polished Titanium, and all the functionality build into it. Wish there was a light for the digital display. by: Anonymous On: 2006-10-31
Firstly, I am not a watch connoiseur. Far from it, I have been known to wear cheap, durable watches from Casio or even Timex if need served it. Neither makes bad watches. However, with the new T-Touch Tissot has certainly outdone itself. It is every mans secret wish toy, and its stylish to boot.
So why should anyone consider plunking down money on this extravagant piece? Where do I begin?:
Firstly, it has an extremely ergonomic design, with nice clean lines and a finely polished Titanium exterior.
It is sturdy to the point of fault, resisting more wear and tear than youd think possible. It was, after all, designed with the idea of outdoor use in mind.
But the most impressive feature of this watch is, of course, the touch screen that allows a myriad of functions with the simple pulse and touch of your finger. You can navigate through an alarm function, a compass, barometer and even altimeter with the greatest of ease and functionality.
In short, the design of this watch straddles extreme functionality and beautiful design with the greatest of ease, making this watch covetible and useful by both people who wish to make a bold statement about their style as well as people who want a watch that is functional with additional bells and whistles but wont die at the slightest tap. This is the perfect watch for any man. On: 2006-10-30
