My 6000 Chronograph Chronometer totally locked up two weeks after the warranty period. Tags response is hey that is now your watch and if you want it to work again it will cost you a $340.00 maintenance. Thi is on a two year old $4500.00 watch. Not a stratger to mechincals. Own over a dozen including a 40+ year old Bulova and have never had this problem from any of my watches. As a matter of fact Tayne, the service manager fro LVMH watch, told me that the Bulova is better made than the Tag and no watch Tag makes will last as long as the Bulova. If you just need to tell the time there are many watches that based upon my experience will last longer than two years in fact many carry a five year warranty. However if you have a burning desire to have a fine example of "130 years of Swiss watch making technology" on your wrist be prepared to shell out over $340.00 ever couple of years. |
