Great watch, Poor wristband     On: 2007-09-24

This watch is great, I love it, but the wristband is hard to adjust (I havent managed yet) and the watch itself is a bit heavy.
Awsome,     On: 2007-07-11

Well watch by far one of the best I have owned, the links are really easy to remove, it looks extreamy sharp. The only problem I have with it is it ctaches my wrist hair, was a little painful the first day I had it on, now its awsome.
I recommend this watch to any CASIO fan
P.S. - Its maid in Japan!
Excellent watch     On: 2007-05-16

I bought this watch based on several of the reviews listed here. I recommend that you think of this watch as having an analog display with the capability to displaying digital information in the background. In most cases, the background digital information is hard to read unless you hit the illuminate button. This is great for me because it gives the watch a classic analog look while having all of the capabilities of a digital watch when I need it (which is relatively rare - I generally just need to know what time it is). The watch is full of features. I can confirm that the thermometer does not give accurate readings when you are wearing the watch.

As a final note, I could not find any instructions in the manual on how to adjust the band. [...] You need to follow the instructions for the "Leaf Spring Coupled Type," which is very easy once you see how it is supposed to be done.
Excellent Value Buy     On: 2007-05-16

Pros:
- Excellent looks. Same as displayed in product image.
- Great value buy
- Temperature Calibration provided.
- Good features like stop watch, auto light while tilting watch at 40*, indiglo light.

Cons:
- Manual doesnt specify how to change size of strap.
- No backward movement for analog hands. So if did mistake in adjusting will have to again come back after traversing 12 hours.
- A bit bulky.
- Steel strap quality is a bit cheap. Takes away some wrist hairs.
- Old fashioned strap buckle.

Great Watch     On: 2007-05-08

Same as it looks in the figure, Except the digital part.
Still it is a very good watch. Im happy with the delivery as well.
An Amazing Value     On: 2007-05-08

I am stunned at the quality and features of this watch, especially given its low, low price. I originally thought Casio was solely a dealer of cheap but durable resin watches. I recently discovered Casios terrific "Edifice" line--what a find! Gorgeous stainless steel and a multitude of features. Its the best money Ive ever spent on clothing/jewelry. I am eminently satisfied.
An attractive and functional analog/digital watch for a good price     On: 2007-02-25

I feel that this watch, and its rectangular brother the EFA120D1AV, are attractive, well-built, feature-filled watches, that sell for a reasonable price. Ive seen several posts in which people complain about the darkness of the LCD. However, the use of a black inverse LCD is common among many manufacturers. This use of such a subtle LCD in an analog/digital watch makes the watch look much more elegant than analog/digital watches that use a bright/contrasty LCD in the background. The result is that the analog hands stand-out quite clearly from the LCD in the background, yet the information on the LCD can still be read when desired. This watch manages to present an elegant sophisticated, yet sporty look, while providing a lot of information and functionality. Im quite pleased with my purchase and only wish it had been easier to choose between this watch and the similar EFA120D1AV.
Nice Watch     On: 2007-01-20

The Watch is very nice and it came in an excellent condition! It is very beautiful and it has many operations.
Awesome Watch     On: 2006-12-23

I bought this watch for my husband for Christmas and was so impressed with all of the functions that I ended up giving it to him early and buying him something else for Christmas. We had to get it sized, so if you have small wrists, plan on that. But for the price, this watch absolutely rules. It has so many functions that it is hard to learn at first, but it comes with a little booklet that explains everything.
awesome little thing..     On: 2006-11-27

I bought this watch a month bak an i am really happy wit it..ita sightly complicated to learn but overall its absolutely amazing..its a steal at that price..only pwoblem is that the temperature indicator takes time to adjust..
Casio - EFA119BK1AV     On: 2006-11-03

I was searching for a watch for weeks, saw a picture of this watch and paused. Intrigued I began to read the specs: alarm, chronograph, thermometer, light, stopwatch, world-time zones and more, whats the catch? $55USD Cmon seriously with all those features is that all? I was still skeptical but when I got the watch & put it on my wrist I was sold. Solid, well crafted, unique sporty/elegant combination. My only gripe is that slight increase in body temperature can give an innacurate room temperature. We cant have the world but CASIO has come close with this price I can honestly say go for it!
I AM SATISFIED     On: 2006-09-30

I DID NOT EXPECT THAT CASIO PRODUCES SUCH GOOD QUALITY WATCHES. THIS WATCH IS ACTUALLY BETTER THAN IT SEEMS IN THE PHOTO. IT IS SHINNY AND VERY HEAVY. THATS A VERY GOOD MANUFATURING PRODUCT. BEAUTIFUL AS IT COMBINES ANALOGUE AND DIGITAL READINGS. AND I AM SURE THAT THIS WATCH WILL LAST FOR A LIFE AS ALL MY OTHER CASIO WATCHES WHICH I BOUGHT WHEN I WAS IN HIGH SCHOOL AND STILL ARE WORKING. NOT TO MENTION THE PRICE FOR SUCH A FANTASTIC WATCH. JUST 50 DOLLARS? IN GREECE WE SAY "DONT EVEN SAY IT TO THE PRIEST"
Is not so amazing as you can see it in the picture description     On: 2006-09-03

To be honest... when i saw the picture in the description area, it looks like an awesome watch!, but when i opened the package I wanted to return it.

If you see the picture you can appreciate the digital information, like thermometer, digital hour, day, month, etc... but in the real life, you must incline it until you are able to see it..

The other thing, is the thermometer, is not so accurate because your body heat affects it. When my digital home thermometer marks 72 F, the watch marks 92 F so if you want an accurate measure you need to take it off, and wait between 20min and 30min to reach an accurate measure (This information was extracted from the Manual).

So in conclusion, if you want a watch with a thermometer built-in... just keep looking for other models..
nice     On: 2006-08-01

this watch has it all at a nice price, the display is kind of dark and the band sacrifices some of your hand-hair if u have and i doubt that u dont have, else is a masterpiece, all stainless steel, even base, thermomener and a smart cronograph, plus 3 yrs battery, this is my favourite, no other watch has this price/quality proportion. try it and u will be satisfied, sporty but looks elegant too.
Exceptional detail     On: 2006-07-05

The craftsmanship on this watch it absolutely top rate. Very nice band, not flimsy or cheap. The world time is very cool.
