 Tissot Men's Titanium T-Touch Watch #T33.7.588.41 By: Tissot Average Rating: 4.5 Total Reviews: 11 More Information Great Watch, But Warning, Stay Out Of Water  On: 2008-06-22This is a fantastic watch. Ive had mine for three or four years and it looks to me like they are still the same watch. But for 2 reasons I give four instead of five stars: 1)If the light is just a bit on the dark side it is difficult to see the LED read out and there is no watch light. If there was a light with this watch it would truly be a marvel. Second defect: I dont know if Tissot improved on this but do not put this watch in water. They say it is good to 30 meters but it was BS in my experience. I put it one foot in a hot tub and it went bonkers. It took Tissot months and months to fix it. Thinking it was OK to put in water after it was repaired I briefly put it water again and it went kaput a second time. Tissot again took several months to fix it once more. Tissot T-Touch does not touch all the bases  On: 2008-04-05I bought this watch as the result of a serious search for the perfect aviation watch. It really disappointed me. First of all it has a cheap and tinny look more appropriate for a $75 WalMart watch. It is NOT a $500 watch. It is very light, but I like heavier feel says quality to me. The watch can be tricked into giving dual (Zulu) time, but this means that the watch hands are crooked when in compass mode, thermometer and meteo mode. There is no documentation for how to get it to show Zulu time on the digital display. It took me 20 minutes to finagle it and I am dreading the next daylight savings time change because I have already forgotten how I did it. You cannot enter the altimeter setting directly. This is not mentioned in any of the marketing materials. In order to set the altimeter to current conditions you have to know your altitude!!!!! Can you believe that???? Ridiculous... The barometric pressure is reported in hectopascals, not inches of mercury, which means that this should be marketed only in Europe, not North America. I had read on the internet that it would express inches of mercury too, but that is wrong. The date setting only is expressed as day/month, not month/day. Good for Eurocentric Swiss engineers, confusing for North Americans. The compass is inaccurate. Without moving the watch, the compass varies by 10 degrees or so, busily and mindlessly buzzing the crooked hands back and forth with a mind of its own. The chrono is good enough for me, but people who like split times need a different watch. I do like the alarm. If you want a serious watch that does everything this T-Touch should do, buy a Suunto observer. Great Watch  On: 2007-10-21this was a gift for my husband for his birthday, he really loved it, it looks elegant, and very classy ...i recommend it. Great time piece. On: 2007-08-31The box it arrived in weighed slightly over two pounds, but hardly any of they weight was the watch itself. It comes with more manuals than a scanning electron microscope--that is the weight. The watch itself is very light for its size and was my greatest first impression of the watch. The solid titanium attributes to its light weight. The manual is not quite as intuitive as one may like, but once you make sense of the pictographic instructions, setting the time, date or even magnetic variance of the compass is as easy as pie. For being a large-frame watch, it has the style youd expect from Tissot and the blue face really brings that out. Great watch, great buy. You get what you pay for On: 2007-07-02Ergonomics, design, functionality and elegance. This watch has them all. It is expensive, but it is also tough, practical and fashion friendly in one nice package. The compass, temperature and altimeter features all come in handy on hiking trips but I bought this watch because it is as close to indestructible as a guy with an active lifestyle can get in this price range. Great watch and conversation piece On: 2007-01-20This watch combines analog and digital display with style and flare. Amaze your friends with the T-Touch functions, especially the compass and the weather prediction. The true usefulness of a few functions is questionable: the thermometer, for example, always gives a reading somewhere between your body temperature and the ambient temperature. If you want to know the real temperature, you have to take the watch off for 15-30 minutes. The titanium version is very light -- worth the extra cost in my book. Scratch-resistant sapphire crystal was an important feature for me because I wear my watch all the time and always end up with scratches on the glass -- none so far on this watch. One major, inexplicable flaw: theres no light! This is a battery-powered watch; couldnt they have at least included a light on the digital display? The analog display glows in the dark, but forget about checking the digital time, the altitude, the temperature or using the stopwatch in low light conditions. Summing up, this watch is a very original, good-looking, quality Swiss timepiece with a reasonable price and, unfortunately, a few design flaws. Tissot watch On: 2007-01-18This was a Christmas gift for my husband. This was the best price I found for this watch and was pleased that there was no shipping charges at the time it was purchased. The watch arrived in perfect condition in the time it was supposed to - something I was worried about since it was ordered so close to Christmas. My husband and I couldnt be happier with the watch. I highly recommend it and the vendor. awesome On: 2007-01-15this watch is beautiful, light weight and does everything its supposed to do; the warranty is good and I saved $400.00!!! A great deal!! I bought this for my boyfriend and he totally love it. The titanium strap and the clasps makes it light to wear and easy to put it on and take it off.
