On: 2008-06-03I like my watch a lot... the fact that it does not have backlight and hard to read at night and the sync thing (dials vs. digital) I can live with. The fact that it was broken twice already (same exact thing - stuck on stopwatch and not allow returning back to showing the time) is very frustrating, especially since I have it for less then a year. FYI - Tissot will not talk to you if you have an issue. You will have to use the warranty given by Amazon and it is not good, sorry to say. Not only that they are not responsive and it took 3 calls and screamin on a supervisor to get a status of the repair but 2 months later the same thing happened again and you have no one to talk to, just the warranty company. Remember - Tissot will not talk to you and after 30 days Amazon will not talk to you as well. Eye-catching instrument  On: 2008-03-10Solid build and construction. The pressure-sensitive glass surface is scratch resistant. The compass uses the hour and minute hand and is easy to read. The altimeter and barometer stays accurate if calibrated. The thermometer uses the bottom plate as sensor, thus is only accurate when the watch is not worn. After wearing this watch for 1-2 years, I found the digital clock out of sync with the analog clock. For example, the digital clock shows 9:00, but the analog hands show 9:02. A short call to the Tissot Customer Support fixed the problem. They showed me how to re-sync the two. They said it is caused by de-magnetization. Not sure if that is true, but at least I can fix it. It is a mens watch, but is still wearable on a slender womans wrist. The strap is adjusted by cutting off the extra rubber with scissors. Despite several shortcomings, I still find this watch stylish and uilitarian. Many people comment on the watch. It is definitely an attention-catcher. Awesome Watch On: 2008-02-17I wanted this watch for a while and my wife got it for me for Christmas. I absolutely love it! Its a great every day watch with functions that are not so much functional as they are just really cool. I love this watch On: 2007-05-14This watch is very cool. It works well and look good - yes an eye catcher. This watch did come with some unexpected concern: the owner book was not with its package; it is not easy setting up the compass. I found the owner manual on the Internet. Overall, I love this watch. Nice watch  On: 2007-01-15I purchased the watch and sent it back. Not due to the quality as it is excellent. However, I just didnt need the features such as the compass and temperature. Temperature readings have to be off your wrist for approximately 30 minutes. The biggest problem is the dial is hard to see if you have less than par vision. I opted for a cheaper watch with larger numbers and it suits me much better. But again, if you like the features the watch is seriously well made and looks great. |
