Coolest Watch on the Planet     On: 2008-06-13

Id been looking at this for a while after it came out. After I finally saw and held one in my hand, I knew I wanted one. I get compliments all the time on it. I love traveling on planes with it, too. I use the compass a lot to see what the pilot is doing as far as the route were traveling. It is a lot of fun.

This is a very sharp looking watch. Great features if you are an outdoor person, have style, and want people to know you are as well. I purchased the titanium version with the black silicon wristband three years ago.

The real deal:
- This watch is virtually unusable at night as there is no light. The luminescent indicators have a useful life of about two hours.
- My touch screen died three times within the two-year international warranty. I had to send it to Swatch headquarters in New Jersey, losing six months of useage.
- It cannot be exposed to water at all. Showering was the main exposure to water and it killed the touch screen.
- If the touch screen doesnt work, there is no way to use any of the features of the watch except to tell time. God help you if during the switch to day-light savings or back.
- The silicon strap stretches overtime making the watch slide up and down your arm during an activity involving your arms.
- You cannot adjust the silicon watch strap execpt by cutting on pre-determined lengths. Pray that your wrist is not a half-size.
- After three years the silcon strap broke. Replacement cost: $80.00.

I just cannot recommend this Swiss timepiece even at $200. Look into a similar Timex or Casio.
I love it     On: 2008-04-13

I love it, resistant, only i sweat a litle due to rubber when i used for long time but is an excelent watch
Love this watch!     On: 2007-12-21

I bought this watch for my boyfriend and he absolutely loves it! He receives compliments on it all the time. It takes awhile to figure out all of the features and he wishes it had a backlight; other than that its great. The price was almost 1/2 what I would have had to pay at the jewelers!
Surprisingly poor product and service.     On: 2007-11-25

My wife gave me this watch for Christmas. We work in the field, in tropical countries; the watch was to be a useful tool.
Within one month following a trip to Central Africa all the functions except time stopped working. I sent it to Tissot. They sent back `repaired this time it lasted about three weeks. Tissot repaired again. I repeated this seven times in 13 months. The people at Tissot were very short on the telephone and refused to replace my watch with a new one.I was travelling so often I had to send it from outside the US, they promised they would pay the shipping every time I spoke to them and then never included the check with the watch.
After seven repairs they finally sent a replacement watch. All functions stopped working except the actual clock in five weeks. I havent worn it since and cant afford the time to deal with the incredibly rude people at the service center.
This watch maybe lovely to look at, but make sure you keep it inside the house because it obviously far too complex to perform the functions it is supposed to outside of a home environment.

Cool!!!     On: 2007-10-14

I love my new watch!
It answers all the expectations I had, except for the fact it has no light/backlight/something to help you see the time at night.
Features are as expected and it looks great!
Tissot T-Touch Orange Men's Watch     On: 2007-03-11

The T-Touch is the most sophisticated timepiece Ive ever owned. This is my second one and a third one is on order. They invite numerous questions and compliments. They are rugged, lightweight and and simple to use once you get past the learning curve which is made easy by the excellent instruction manual.
My husband loves this watch!     On: 2007-02-06

This watch is great. My husband loves it! It took some time to set it up and learn about all of its functions. He wears it everyday and it is an attention getter.

Very cool watch, easy to use. THis was a gift for a Vols fan and because of the orange strap my father loves it.
Nice Watch     On: 2007-01-10

The Tissot T-Touch watch is a great watch we first saw when traveling in Poland. It is fun for anyone that likes "toys" and "gadgets", especially those that are in the engineering field. It is a heavy duty watch that is sure to entertain and be useful. The one thing I will say that is negative is that the instruction manual is not very easy to decipher--it is written to be "useful" in many languages, so there are not a lot of words, just diagrams. Setting the date was quite difficult, even for the technologically advanced!

Great Functionality and Style Marred by My Personal Experience     On: 2005-10-26

This is a great looking watch. The bright orange band gets constant attention (mine!) and does not fade. You can get the band in black, but why do that? Even a minimalist will have a hard time throwing away the handsome blue Tissot box that holds the user manual and a 278 page paperback history of the company! The watch rests on a miniature pillow. After some staged reticence and my best surelyyoucandobetterthanthat look I bought this baby for $463 in St. Maarten, N.A. seven months ago. It looks as if I could have gotten a better price at this website (A nickel is in the mail, right?). I really love the compass. Activated by a button at the three oclock position a magical tap on the crystal swings the minute hand to the northerly direction. This is real easy. Tapping the crystal at other identifed points on the lens will give you todays date, a stopwatch, your elevation, an independently set digital time, the temperature, and a barometric weather trend. Oh, the bezel rotates in both directions.

After just six months I lost almost every function but the time! Why own a watch if it only tells you the time. I can ask strangers for that. I sent my Tissot to the authorized repair center (Always call first to verify their address and procedure!). I included a copy of my original receipt to confirm my warrantee but still got an estimate of $380 to repair it. It seems that all those business meetings, daily showers, occasional bike rides, and a short vacation at the beach had worn out my little friend. I called and got a revised estimate of no charge. This may be a rare failure for a Tissot, but I find myself hesitating before using the functions I paid for. With all the stylish, highly reliable, multi-function watches available in this and much lower price brackets (Casio, Timex, etc), I can only give this three stars.
