Extremely accurate watch!     On: 2007-08-31

This is a great watch! The metal band makes it very nice looking and it is Radio Controled. This means it sets it self automatically via Radio (WWVB). So it is extremely accurate. I read some of the other posts about folks having problems with changing the date from month/day to day/month and daylight savings time and I did NOT have similar problems. Both these features are well described in the manual and work fine. (If you are one of those people who could never figure out how program a VCR... maybe this is not the watch for you) The only issue I had was adjusting the band. This was not very well illustrated in the manual and required special tools. So it took me a few minutes to remove the links. Another minor "nit" is that this watch only shows the day of the week on the "main time" display (i.e. THU). You have to press a button to display the date. I also have the Timex 1440 Sports watch (also Radio Controlled) and it displays the time day/date on the "main time" display (i.e. TH 8-30) and since it has a Velcro band did not require any special tools. But the 1440 is a "sports watch" that looks fine while jogging but you can wear this watch to work or out to dinner. Overall I am very satisfied.
Great watch     On: 2007-08-17

Great watch. Very readable. But, I cannot change Date format from DD/MM to MM/DD as per instructions.
Timex Radio Control Watch     On: 2007-08-08

Pros:
Very acurate time. Good size. Easy to read. Nice backlight. Easy to use. Recessed face to help prevent scratches. Secure band.

Cons:
Watch case is plastic and very easily scratched. Once scratched, the plastic underneath is not the same color. Can start to look bad quick.

Timex Radio Controled Watch     On: 2006-11-10

This watch works very well with its radio control time update, ease of setup, and functionality is good. Also, instructions were straight forward and easy to follow. The watch band seems to be very durable and comfortable enough. On the downside, the watch is a bit more bulky and heavier than most digital watches that Ive used. The bezel is a silver painted plastic and the paint is wearing off making it look a little unsightly. If the watch band has to be adjusted, you must either move a pin or for the smaller wrist a link or links must be removed.
Daylight time confuses watch     On: 2006-10-30

When I first got this watch, the only negative was that it was heavier then expected.
It synced up perfectly with the radio signal, and has been right on the mark since.

However, came daylight savings time, and it has gone haywire. It did not adjust to the DSL by itself. All of my attempts to reset it manually have failed. I am puzzled as to what to do with a watch that still reads the minutes and seconds correctly but is one hour off!
