On: 2008-02-02I got this watch for Christmas, so Ive had a chance to wear it now for about a month and a half. It is a very sleek, classic looking watch. I have received numerous complements on it! The picture on Amazon does not do this watch ANY justice. It makes it look bland, faded out, and just not so great. I originally saw it in a B&M store (nameless) and decided it was for me. The watch was about $70 on Amazon if I recall. A great deal considering the B&M stores I looked at are selling it for a good deal over $100. As for quality, I have not had any issues with mine. It is possible the other reviewers watch was defective. In fact, my crystal doesnt even have a scratch on it yet and Ive been wearing it almost daily. As for the size of the band, it is actually slightly larger than most watches. But for me I believe that is a good thing. I have fairly thin wrists and it fits just great on me. If I extend the band out to the largest setting I can see that it would fit a very large wrist. I dont see how that is a bad thing though, that just makes the watch more form fitting for a larger variety of people. But for me it fits great. If youre considering this watch I would definitely grab one. You wont be disappointed! Skagen Watch  On: 2007-10-11The watch looks nice and feels nice. One draw back is the fact that the pin on the left side of the watch keeps coming off, it had to be replaced twice. Also, the band gets dirty preatty quick!!! so-so  On: 2007-09-25This is not a thin watch, although the back is nicely beveled so it doesnt dig into your wrist. Band is sized appropriately for me, but the leather is VERY stiff, and therefore somewhat uncomfortable. It was cheap, and looks fine, although my wife thinks the band looks like a hospital id band. I wonder how you would replace the watch band, since it doesnt use the standard spring-loaded pins most watches do. This band simply wraps a thin piece of the leather around the watch frame, and its glued on the back. If you consider it a throw-away, youll probably be happy, unless you have small wrists. You need large wrists On: 2007-09-19I have the band down to the smallest setting and it is still loose. I would recommend this watch to NFL players. It would probably fit The Bus. I am going to keep it because it is a real nice timepiece. You need to only wear this where you will not get dirty. The band is too light for everyday use. I like the style of the watch though.
