But I love the watch ! Its nice and elegant and goes with everything. Go and try it in your local Macys so you get the feel of it. Skagen has many similarly looking watches from Skagen, I just think this one suited me most. Its funny how the model sounds - 331 XL Sexy (another reason I bought it, who knows !) 8-) Different Than the Description On: 2007-12-26The watch thickness is not correct based on the specifications written. It is closer to the 8.5 mm mentioned before. Also, the band is very tightly put together, and the first link is stiff on the watch case. So if you have small wrists, dont count on this fitting correctly. However, functionally, the watch was perfect. Beautiful case and dials, the white and chrome were very well done. The watch is stainless, so it is considerably heavier than the skagen watches I am used to. I was used to the thin, lightweight Skagens. Just not what I expected from the description. pleasureful to the eye, painful to the arm On: 2007-11-19I received this Skagen watch as a gift. While the face is very elegant, the chain is so tightly-linked that it easily pulls at arm hair, even after having it sized. It became such a problem for me that I after a week i had to trade it in for another Skagen. A Bit Short of Expectations On: 2007-06-21The watch is listed as 6mm thick while I measure more like 8.5mm. Also with the silver face the contrast between the watch face and hands is relatively poor in my opinion. Technically the 24 hour dial feature is not well implemented as there is no way to set it separately from the main dial time. Therefore it cannot be used for keeping time in a second time zone. Overall attractive but due to the items above it falls short of my expectations. Rich Wood |
