It fits a smaller wrist like mine nicely. It looks much more expensive than it is; everyone thought that I had spent a lot more than I did. The prior reviews are correct, though; setting the watch is not straightforward. For example, setting the day of the week requires that you turn the adjustment dial through complete 24 hour periods until you arrive at the correct day. E.g., moving from Wednesday to Friday requires that you rotate the time 48 hours. The 24 hour feature also is a little useless; it assumes that you are too dumb to know whether it is morning or evening. Otherwise, a great watch. Excellent watch!!  On: 2007-08-11I got this watch as a present two months ago and have loved it. The face of the watch is not massive like some nice watches but it is easy to read the time, date, day, and 24hr clock. The watch face has a profile in the shape of a trapezoid so it is easy to bend your wrist when wearing the watch. I would recommend this watch to anyone especially if you have smaller hands or wrists One review expressed trouble setting the date on the watch but you must pull the crown half way out then rotate it backwards to set the date. A Bit Disappointed  On: 2007-07-08The description does not note that the 24 hour time dial is not separately adjustable to a different time zone than the main dial, it is therefore IMO a almost useless feature. The watch case is also thicker than described at closer to 9mm rather than 6mm though the tapered case design makes it appear thinner than it actually is when worn. I found the contrast level between the dial and hands less than expected from the photo, making it harder to read than expected. A very sleek watch. On: 2007-03-10Ive purchased a number of Skagen watches as gifts and this watch is one of the best. The size of this watch is impressive and because of that the 3 dials are fairly easy to read. The metal band is nice and wide and has a quality latch. Be sure to find a watch that fits your wrist size, since this watch dwarfs a small wrist. I recommend comparing case diameters. The thinness of these watches is their best feature and definitely sets them apart. |
