 Skagen Men's Titanium Watch #396LTTM By: Skagen Average Rating: 4.0 Total Reviews: 13 More Information Defective Date function and fogs up  On: 2008-07-17I purchased this was from AAFES and it was sent to me directly from the Skagen warehouse. I had this watch for less than 2 weeks and it fogs up on the inside and the date function stopped working. I cannot set the day of the week on the watch and I cant even see the face of my watch because of the moisture collecting on the inside. Brand new less than 2 weeks old and I had to request for it to get repaired. Saved 50%  On: 2008-06-12Saw this product at a department store for double the price. It is beautiful and is of excellent quality. I get lots of comments on it On: 2008-02-20This is a great watch. It is looks good, it is very light weight, and it is very easy to adjust. You dont have to add or subtract links. The watch has a thin face which minimizes scratching. I get a lot of compliments on my watch. People always want to look at it, try it on or buy one for their boyfriend haha! One other cool think about it is that it has the option of telling the day in Spanish. :) Great watch On: 2008-01-23I love it. Very light, looks stylish and sleek. The mesh band gives it a better fit than links do. One thing to note, the "day of week" function has both spanish/french and english on it e.g. in the morning it is "MER" and afternoon it is "WED". Looks Great But Defective On: 2008-01-08Beware, it has great looks, thin and light but the day/date does not work. I am sending it back - hope I get one that works Nice looking watch but beware....  On: 2008-01-03I bought this watch immediately on looks and feel. Very light, the mesh band is a great feature and the day/date is really great. Classy! However, after 6 months of wearing the watch, multiple scratches and cracks appeared on the supposed reinforced crystal face than on any other watch Ive owned. Im a careful user!!! The final straw was I dropped it on a table from 18 inches and a large crack appeared in the corner and 3 of the time-position bars fell off and are currently moving at will around the watch interior. Beautiful to look at but poor endurance and quality of build. Would not recommend to buy unless you wrap it in cotton wool! Exactly what I wanted On: 2007-11-12This watch looks as good as I expected, very light, very thin. I typically do not like metal wristbands as Ive had issues with hairs getting pinched, but the tight mesh band on this watch doesnt do that. Frankly, Im surprised this watch doesnt cost twice as much. sherah.d  On: 2007-10-08Fantastic watch, great price. Just a shame I had to get it sent to an address in the USA to get it at the $89 price, instead of being able to buy direct from Amazon USA to my home address in the UK! That said, it arrived before the ETA and is now a much loved, good looking and well priced item. Handsome Timepiece! On: 2007-09-18Saw this Skagen at Dillards for $165 and found it on Amazon for $70 less than retail. Its a handsome watch...a bit larger than most Skagens and has an easily adjustable band. A REAL bargain on a quality timepiece. Sharp, light, thin watch. On: 2007-08-21I wanted to see this in person before I purchased it. The metal mesh band gave me pause, because I was afraid it would catch on my arm hair. It doesnt. The watch is super-light and very thin, and the face is large and clear without being obnoxious. I am happy to report that the date on my watch advances just fine, and so far it keeps excellent time. VERY subtle and understated. On: 2007-06-12The square-ish, thin case and self-mesh strap in a subtle monochrome are very dignified and elegant. This watch doesnt shout, but blends in, complimenting any clothing. When others watches are screaming macho-ness or ostentation, this one confidently shows well-bred taste. Defective Day/Date Function On: 2007-01-12Sharp looking watch but quite a disappointment --- the day and date analog did not advance accurately so I returned it for a replacement. The replacement watch had the same defect advancing the day read-out in 12 hours rather than 24 hours and the date didnt move at all. |
