On: 2008-05-15Ive had this watch for several weeks and have formed a favorable opinion. Its very well constructed and thus far very accurate. It took nearly two weeks to fully charge but that was normal and documented. It ran fine while partially charged. While it looks complicated to use Ive found it easy to understand the various functions which are clearly explained in the user guide. I havent used it under any rugged conditions nor submersed it in anything other than a swimming pool. Thus I cant attest to its endurance except to say that under normal usage it should be very reliable and solid. As far as appearance, Ive received quite a few compliments along the lines of "Hey, cool watch." and "Did you get a new watch? Nice!" All-in-all Im very happy with this purchase. Oh... one more thing. It is VERY heavy. I dont mind the weight but youll want to make sure that its properly fitted to your wrist. Most jewelry stores will do this for a nominal fee (some may even do it free of charge). Superb watch for the price. On: 2008-04-13At first I must say its a bit risky to buy a watch on the internet before you have seen it. But in this case i got really lucky. The watch was a little bigger than I expected, but as soon as i got used to the size (took about one hour) i think its great. I was thinking about getting the titanium version because of the low weight, but i liked the color and the layout a lot better on this one. I dont think the weight is a problem at all. So far Ive had the watch for about one month, and i like it better each day. The only minor vulnerability of the watch is that the glass is the uppermost part of it. I have gotten one little scratch so far, but i dont think it will be a big problem. The watch looks great, and I expect it to last several years. My last watch was a Citizen eco-drive too, and it ran problem-free for 12 years! Well done, Citizen! If you want a watch that is on par with a Omega or Breitling but dont want their price tag, this is the watch for you. |
