 Steinhausen Leonardo Swiss Automatic Watch-Gold By: Steinhausen Average Rating: 3.0 Total Reviews: 3 More Information Beautiful watch with minor caveats  On: 2008-03-10I bought this watch about 18 months ago, and if anything, it looks even better in person than in the picture. Ive received several compliments on it. I havent had any issues with it losing time, though I also had one of the decorative lugs fall off within about a month. (I ordered a replacement set from Steinhausen - tightening them myself - and havent had a problem since, so Id recommend checking them when you get the watch.) One of the loops on the watchband is starting to fray, so I need to get a replacement band. Im not sure if this is because of a flaw in the band or because I wear it EVERY DAY, so Im reluctant to blame the watch. To summarize: gorgeous watch, just keep your lugs tight and youll be fine. (If its losing time, you may want to take it to a jewelers store and have it adjusted. Its a pretty common issue in watches, and minor at that.) Pretty watch, but poor quality - would not keep time reliably  On: 2007-01-22I bought a Steinhausen Leonardo Automatic watch, but from a different seller. It is a very pretty watch, although the black hands on a gold dial can be hard to read. However, I had so many problems I stopped wearing it after about 6 weeks. It would keep perfect time for several days in a row, and then with no change of routine suddenly lose 5-15 minutes in a day. (I wore the watch every day, so it was not due to lack of winding.) Also, one of the decorative lugs fell off after about one month. Although the watch has a 1 year warrantee, because the problems I had were intermittant I had trouble getting it replaced. My conclusion: pretty watch, but poorly made. Amazing On: 2006-05-19this is probably the most amazing time piece that i have ever owned...and i am now getting anoter for friends as gifts i love mine soooo much. bu it...its worth it. and it is indeed the one thing to make you center of attention anywhere you go. classic, and very elegant. |
