A Great Product     On: 2007-05-24

Bottom line: This is a great product. Yes, Ive owned several Rolexes, Revue Thommens, and others, but this one is the most rugged and keeps the best time, hands down.

The guy below that had all the problems simply needed to change his battery.
It's a TAG, what else you want?     On: 2006-12-08

If you are buying a TAG, dont buy it online. Buy it from a genuine jeweller. Give it the respect these watches deserve. Any TAG watch is an asset, so go ahead and pay the extra 200 bucks to the jeweller and you get an authentic TAG with a lifetime warranty.
Watch= F Amazon= F     On: 2006-12-02

The watch: Being an owner of many mid level watches (2 Movado, 1 Tissot, and 3 Omega watches) I can tell quality when I see it.

With this Tag Heuer I saw none of the qualities I see in my other watches. This watch looks and feels cheap. Put in on your wrist, and shake it. Higher qualty watches will be silent. This watch sounds like your shaking a pocket full of change.

But lets get to what the problem really is. The watch arrived from amazon is new condition, however, The small upper left dial that counts the minutes was stuck. Now, I own a few chronos so immediately I knew something was wrong. I checked the manual and my inkling proved true. THIS WATCH WAS DEFECTIVE! How could this happen? A Timex, maybe, but a TAG Heuer? I would never accuse Amazon of selling a fugazi, but perhaps they are selling factory rejects? Needless to say I was fuming.

Next step: Call amazon (or as they like to do, call you). Innitialy I spoke with a woman who promised me a full refund including shipping. this is what I expected from a classy company like Amazon. The Cust. Service rep told me to look in my e-mail for a link that will bring me to a return label. Great, right? WRONG! I opened my e-mail, and noting. After repeating this process a dozen times within 2 hours. I decided to contact them again by phone. This time I got a different woman who tells me that the first agent I spoke to was mistaken. She said that If I followed the first agents instructions my order would be returned to their main return center and would be processed and shipped to another facility. According to this cust serv person, Amazon has to return locations: One for jewelry and watches, and the other for everything else they sell. She said that if I would have followed the initial instructions I would not have gotten a refund until 8-10 weeks...no, not days, WEEKS!! She also told me that she could not help me with this return , as she was not in the "watches and jewely return dept.", and that I would be getting an e-mail from someone in that dept. within 1-2 business days. After that dept contacts me, they will give instructions on the return and my refund will be processed in 4 weeks! So now, Amazon gets to hold onto 589 of my hard earned dollars for another month. Nowhere on this entire website is this specified. Now, Im not starving for the money but nevertheless ITS MY MONEY AND I WANT IT BACK!

And to think that I was worried about buying a watch from a third party seller at Amazon. What a run-around. I am disgusted.
Great Watch     On: 2006-12-02

Unfortunately it seems the other customer who purchased this watch had a bad experience, I however, did not. My new watch arrived just as promised. When I shake the watch on my wrist I hear nothing. The chronograph features are right on and work perfectly as well. I dont know if the other customer purchased a used watch but my watch works perfect. Regaurdless of what watches I own (a Citizns, Rolex and now Tag) I still do not consider myself a watch expert. I dont think that the type or quantity of watches someone owns automatically qualifies them to be a watch expert. I would recommend this watch to anyone interested in a quality watch.
