 Nike - TRIAX SPEED 100 SUPER By: Nike Average Rating: 3.0 Total Reviews: 1 More Information Nice watch but have a few wishes  On: 2007-10-09I own this watch and use it regularly. It is tough and durable. I have worn it in extreme weather, rain, heat, snow, etc. and it is holding up well after two years and actually no battery change yet. My only wishes are: 1.) The display is hard to read in various light conditions. Yes, you can push the electrolite button and it lights up for a second or two, but it would be better if it had a brighter, more legible display. 2.) The interval timer beeps, but does not flash. If you are wearing an ipod or music player, you need to be more or less aware to look down at your watch to check your interval timer. If you are running in total darkness as I often do, then you better hope there is not a lot of outside noise that will drown out the beep, such as nearby highway noise, etc, or else you will be forced to touch the electrolite or run under a street lamp for a visual check on the interval countdown. The beep is not very loud at all. 3.) The watch band itself holds up well, but for some reason the buckle and hole system is a bit awkward to get off my wrist. These are minor, not major, complaints or "wishes." If none of these bother you, this would be an excellent watch for you. As it is, I like the watch, I just would want more from a future version of it. |
