Very elegant and classy     On: 2008-01-25

This is my first Orient and Im very impressed. After reading about the brand online I can see why these watches are very popular worldwide. The fact that the brand is not mainstream in the U.S. makes owning one unique.
The CET05001W is beautiful I wear mine with a 20mm brown leather aviator strap with white stitching and the band makes the watch look like a 1940s dress watch. The hands are a very handsome dark blue and the face is stunning. The applied polished silver indicies catch the light and make the face look like a jewel.
The movement is smooth as silk and accuracy in the 1 month Ive owned it has been excellent. It loses only 3-5 sec a day. I store the watch either crown up or down when not wearing it since I read that this helps maintain accuracy. From what I read on watch forums regarding the longevity of Orient automatic watches I expect that Ill be enjoying this watch for a very long time with minimal to no maintenance required.
For the price of this watch its a real steal. It Looks like a real luxury item.

Orient brings back class!     On: 2006-09-04

This really is a stunning piece. The dial work is beautiful---very classy---the blued hands will immediately attract your eyes---and the eyes of others.

Specs:

Movement Calibur: 46B
Solid STSTL Bracelet---linked metal brushed/high polish
Solid caseback
24hr eye
Day eye (pointer day)
Date at 6pm
Dual-deployant push button clasp

For the price of this watch, you eyes and your wallet will not believe what you bought. Orient somehow does it again---offering terrific value, at rock-bottom prices.
