This was just a painful experience made worse by Amazon who proved much less service minded that I had hoped - I asked for help for a refund as the goods never arrived but they didnt even bother to reply to the questions I asked them and passed me on to the supplier who also wasnt very forthcoming - you get the picture. So the Suunto watch is fine but be careful when buying from an Amazon approved supplier. Suunto G6 Watch  On: 2008-06-20Watch is very helpful for comparing different swings and evaluating what you did to make the ball go where it did. A little bulky for use off the course, but not a problem otherwise. Best Watch Ever! (For a Golfer.)  On: 2007-11-07About a year ago, I bought a book on the golf swings tempo ("Tour Tempo"). Great book, but the practice of creating a tour tempo was difficult. Well, this watch is the key to that! It has several features, but "practice" mode is the one I find most valuable. In it, you can get feedback on every swing. (The watch can even tell the difference between a practice swing and a stroke that hits a ball.) In practice mode, you get the time of your backswing and downswing, total swing time, the ratio of back/downswing, the length (in degrees) of your backswing, and clubhead speed (if you set it with the club youre using.) NO training device Ive ever had provides so much valuable feedback. Get one! (And buy "Tour Tempo" while youre at it.) It does take some time to learn how to use it. More detailed instructions would be helpful as this is a sophisticated instrument. |
