This watch had a fabric band and we thought we had ordered the plastic band. We ordered the digital marathon and were going to send this back but my daughter wanted and is very happy with the watch and band. It was still a good deal compared to other retailers.

I work for the Fire Department. After having my watch band come apart a few times while putting my hand through the sleeve of my turnout jacket, I decided I needed something with a lower profile that wouldnt get caught and also something that was easy to keep clean, not only after fires but also after medical calls. For the price this watch is just about perfect for my needs. The fabric-like watch band is very durable and with the velcro closure it is easy to put on and take off. The face is easily readable, even at night with the Indiglo light at the touch of a button. After using the watch daily for about 8 months the velcro at the ends of the watch strap is beginning to lose some of its "stickiness" and I am now looking to replace the band with another just like it.

This watch was exactly what I was looking for for my husband. It has been durable and works well. The band is comfortable to wear but can snag on material and be scratchy to the skin. Would buy this watch again, however, if I needed a replacement.
