the recipient stated the strap cracked and broke after only a few months of daily use. it DOES look pretty spiffy so for the price, if it was for MY occasional use and NOT a gift, I would buy one of these again. (note: I did get it because it was on sale; I would likely NOT buy it for any reason had it been the original price stated...) Oh yeah - it looks VERY expensive, and I think treating the strap/band with baby oil would cancel out the cracking/breaking...

I needed an inexpensive timepiece when my old car radio quit & was unable to find a replacement. It works just fine, the large crystal has a decent enough spare efficient look, but its not to be worn wrist side down. This is due to when your arm is resting on a surface, it will bang against a desk or table.
